Stampers Ink bought Prickley Pear

I just got an email from Stamper's Ink (home of Riley and Co)...they have now closed their huge retail store.

But they also bought Prickley Pear which brings their owned lines to 6:
Riley and Co
Inspirations
Funny Bones
Cornish Heritage Farms
Thomas Kinkade
Prickley Pear

They have launched a new blog site called The Ink Spot where you can link to buy those lines but also will have tutorials (like how to color a Kinkade)

They are saying Prickley Pear will be available again this January.

I had seen Prickley Pear at occasional stamp shows. That sounds like another loss for those of us who enjoy attending stamp/scrapbook shows.

So sad that Stamper's Ink closed their retail store. I started stamping about the time T opened her store. Her classes were so much fun and being a hands on and have to see it person I am going to miss having hands on class not just a blog site. Miss House-Mouse stamps also. Hope she comes out with new Thomas Kinkade stamps.

Plus designs will show up with Stampendous often...which means they are selling there and at tons of LSS and gen places like Joann's.

That store looked AMAZING. I was always sorry I was so far away from it!

Just got an update...they took possession Dec 31st of Prickley...so it isnt Jan, but FEB 1st that it will be available.

Tanya also mentions that they will be at a few conventions. She did not mention which ones yet. Keep your eye open on the sites she hosts.
