I was able to pick up 5 sets plus the blocks at one Michaels I hapen to be in with a friend, but later in the day - I went to another closer to my house ... nothing - not one stamp set or block to be had.
For those of us living in Alaska.... Michael's has not gotten the $1 acrylics. I asked a store manager about them and he gave me a blank look!! UGH! He says that a whole new Spring line is coming in 3-4 weeks. I'll cross my fingers on this!
I have all 16 in the set and here is what I did. I went to Office Depot and got a pack of page protectors for trading cards. They have 9 pockets per page, and are just the right size to put these stamps in.
You may have to slightly trim the sides of the plastic sheet the stamps are on, so they slide into the pockets easily.
I also keep my smaller Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders in these trading card page protectors.
They all go into a 3 ring binder.

Can someone tell me where in Mikes are these displayed? I can't find them at my store, else they don't have them!
The ones I found were in the wire rack with the wooden $1 stamps. They were on the bottom though and only in one section of the bin. They weren't really noticeable.
I found them in 1 store (only a few) but the other 3 stores closest to me hadn't received them at all yet.

I went to one in Mansfield, OH. They had them hanging at the end of a scrapbooking row about halfway back in the store. The blocks and stamps were all displayed together. I bought 12 sets for me and 3 for my mom . . . what a deal!
After dissing "Mike's" for not accepting any of the coupons I had, I still went in and I bought the 16 sets of acrylic stamps. For those of you that don't have them, they are really tiny. Each set (which has four or so stamps each set) is about the size of my palm so each individual stamp is really small. However, they are really cute. One of my complaints about Michaels is that they don't restock the stamping stuff...I guess we don't have a big community of stampers here because there were lots of those stamps still left along with the two different blocks. They were on the bottom wire rack where the dollar wood stamps were located and if I didn't know about it, I would have been really hard to find. Anyway, bought them and hope to use them soon. I also bought a whole bunch of the wood blocks with really cute halloween stuff on them.
One more thing...I went next door to Target to see if they still had the 75% sale (they didn't or else I couldn't find those items) but I noticed that they had some of the items that Michael's had and the regular price was half of what Michael's was selling it. For example, an eyelet setter was 24 dollars at Michael's and at Target it was 12.99 :(
I am so excited I went lastnight and found them all. They are right inside the door in the bottom of the dollar bin. They are little but they are really cute. I hope all of you that are looking for them find them. Happy Stamping!!!
I went last weekend to our Michael's in Rochester NY, all that was left was 2 or 3 blocks. Someone beat me to the punch, I am going back though. I will not give up!!!
Our JoAnn's had some dollar stamps too, very cute, I got the last 3 they had.
Kudo's to this tread.
I bought about 8 sets yesterday. I started to play with them. They don't make the best imprint, some blotching, etc. But for $1 I can't really complain can I?? ;)

Not that I have any of them yet but I've heard that craft or chalk inks work to give the best images. Classic inks don't work well.

I used regular pigment ink & found that as long as you don't press too hard it will work well.
Okay, call me crazy for posting this. But, I went to my local big M's and they didn't have any (no doubt). I'm totally caught up in this and HAVE to have those stamps! LOL
Awhile back, I got caught up in a similar whirlwind for the Joanne's $1 clear stamps and such. I posted that I found them and was quickly contacted by a fellow SCS that couldn't get them in her area. I sent her the ones I could find at my store and she paid me for them plus shipping cost.
I am just hoping that maybe, just maybe, there is someone out there willing to do the same SUPER FAVOR for me?
Pretty please....

I'm still trying to find those darn cute tins Jan had on her blog a while back. I guess they are resurfacing. I did not see these clear stamps at the Michaels I stopped at today. Bummer.

I went today - will be posting a > thank you to several people for various things later  I spent a fourtune today!!
Anyway, I was told that these sets are new and that not all stores have them yet. I bought 3 sets for me, and a couple of sets for a secret someone:rolleyes: AND a couple extra to send to the Mystery RAK'ers for when I don't have anything they are wishing for!!;)
Michaels in Canada will not have them......we always get left out!!
Surprise! Michaels in Belleville Ontario has them this week, we all got the set of 16 and the blocks. They sell here for $1.50. They don't last long when they come in, but they were in the store this time for 3 days. This is the second time they had them. So girl, Michaels here in Canada does have them.....we don't get left out entirely. Thanks
Kate, I am going to PM you about getting you some.
This link no longer works. I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to post pictures of stamps that I bought, only the stamped images. OOOPS! Well, now I know the rule.

Finally after weeks of checking various Michael's and only finding 2 sets, a Michaels in North San Diego County just got some in. They sold out in less than an hour. Wow was I lucky.
Micheal's finally got the clear $1.00 stamps in the pacific NW. Went to my Micheal's and got 11 of the 16 and 2 clear blocks. The bin was almost empty, so hopefully they get some more in.
They are so cute. I love Mini stamps.
These should be so fun to use.
Yea! they finally came in.

Yes we do have them in Canada, thanks to all you gals, when I heard about them on this thread, I just had to check our Mike's in Regina, SK.
I bought 16 sets, they also had the Baby Face Alphabet for my Cuttlebug which I got at 40% off. IT WAS A GREAT SHOPPIN' DAY.
I can't believe they had them, we never seem to get thing right away here in Canada.
