Hi All!
I'm excited to Host on Stephanie's behalf this week!! She's so cool!! Thanks Stephanie!!!
The inspiration for you this week is COWS!!! Yes, cows. Not just any cows, very special "Cow Parade" cows! And there are MANY to choose from!! "Cow Parade" is actually a sort of traveling art show, where local artisans -- both amateur and professional -- take on the task of painting life-size acrylic cows and the cows become permanent residents of selected cities all around the world!! You may have some in your own home town, or have seen them on your worldly travels, or you may even own one because smaller-scale versions of the painted cows are recreated and sold in boutiques and on-line! There is an official Cow Parade website, but the cow images there aren't large enough (IMO) to get a good look, so I found THIS WEBSITE that you can browse through to get inspiration! And please feel free to use your own photo or any reference of a Cow Parade cow if you prefer!!
So take a look at the cow inspiration pieces at this websiteand be inspired!! Your card does NOT have to have a cow as part of the design -- just inspired by the COW PARADE!!
Make sure you use the keyword: IC123 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.
I made two samples, one with a cow, and one without (see my inspiration choice below)! I hope you all have fun!!
How to Play ~ View THIS WEBSITE and select a cow(s) or go with the attached image that I used. You may be mooo-ved (*chuckle* -- I know you were waiting on that!) to recreate your favorite bovine ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, style or 'theme', just however the cows speak to you!! Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey. (And thanks so much, Stephanie for giving me the opportunity! I've had a blast!!)

OMGosh, it might not be until tomorrow evening but I have to give this a try! Just the first page of cows I looked at are hilarious! What fun it will be to browse through them!
Fabulous inspiration pieces, Anne!!
I'll definitely try to play tomorrow. I burned both of my thumbs cooking dinner tonight and one has a big burn bubble the size of a dime. Hurts like heck..

Those cows are hilarious! I've got at least two dozen different cow tabs open right now, so all I have to do is narrow it down to which one I want to use as my inspiration cow! Hehe!
thanks Anne for the great inspiration. we did have this exhibit come to StamPford and it was so much fun. Many of the local artisits made pieces for it and they were auctioned off for charity. Here is my card, and I am going back to sleep!! IC123, Glamourous Reason to Smile Trifecta by NANCYRUTH at Splitcoaststampers
After spending the day in a class for Copic markers I used this image for todays challenge. The artwork in an original image by Marianne Walker of Eugene, OR and colored by me...:0
This is going to be interesting. Once I was able to find a cow I got excited--I had a hard time linking to the site. I ended up using Google to find me a cow!!
OMG this is too awesome...my sister has collected Cow Parade for years, she has ALLLLLLLLLLLL of them in her house, plus all the other items (cookie jars, ornaments, yadda yadda yadda). I'm going to have to tell her about this one!!

This challenge is just what I need after a stressful week! My DH was in a motorcycle accident, but by the grace of God - and his helmet - he only has two cracked ribs and a broken thumb. This will be my first Inspiration Challenge, and I can't wait to get started. The cows are hysterical!
Fun! What a fun challenge - thanks so much for hosting today, Anne - and coming up with this challenge. I chose the Beehive Bovine and did a lot of paper piecing and cutting, but it was fun!
It took me longer to decide which cow I wanted to use than it did to finish my card -- even though I threw the first two cards away. I've seen these cows in gift shops and thought they were very clever. Several years ago, Orlando had a similar projects -- only they used lizards!
