I have seen this idea on the card sketches challenge forum, and thought that it was about time us scrapbookers had a go too!
So...I challenge you to go back to SBSC1 and try to complete as many LOs based on these sketches as you can! It may be the perfect way to add some more pages to an album you need to finish, a boost to those who have lost their mojo, or just a way to challenge yourselves.
I will be taking part in this challenge, but not for a few weeks, as I am going on a once in a lifetime trip, and will have 100s of photos to scrapbook when I get back! :-D It could easily be the summer holidays before I even start on that album! I will be posting regularly to let anyone taking part know how I am getting on (and hopefully posting a few pictures along the way!)

Ok-- I like the challenge, but cant quite figure out where it is we should start? I looked back, but got a bit lost

Well, you can start wherever you want! Some might one to go in order from 1, or you can pick random sketches (say if you need a sketch that incorporates 3 pictures) and make a note of its number.
However you start make sure to post your layouts here and on the forum for that specific sketch - so we can all see your fab work!
I want to participate too. So, I can only find the pages that go back to sbsc111. How do I find number 1. I did find some theme challenges that start with one...Is that where we are suppossed to start?

There is a sticky with the Master List with all the challenges on, some of them aren't the actual sketch but are the first example posted (if that makes sense).
Also if you search using the box at the top of th page (eg type SBSC01) it will find the forum for the sketch. I think the first sketch was posted by Mama Kimberely.

PS. If you want to include the Theme challenges as well, there are no rules to stop you!

Thanks for the response Elyce. I've been on the forum for awhile now and I just have never bothered much with any of the challenges so, there are plenty I can go back and do. And Lord knows, I got the photos that need to be scrapped. :rolleyes:
Great idea! My friend and I were talking about starting from the beginning with the color and sketch challenges, so I would love to add this to my to-do list!
This sounds like a great idea. I go back to other challenges all the time and have been thinking about starting from #1. As many of you have noticed I scrap my baby boy Jesse all the time. I am also working on scrapping my heritage photos and my wedding. It is so much fun! I use all of these sketches with digital scrapbooking software. Sometimes it is difficult but I do my best.
I have taken all the PDF files of the master list and combined it into one. This pdf file has all sketches from 1 - 132. I will be updating it each week with the sketch challenges. Please be patient as I probably won't get to update it until Sunday sometime.
under "Places of Interest" entitled "SCS SBSC Master List".
It's a large file and may take a bit to load depending on your type of connection. If you select to download the PDF you will be able to save it.
If anyone has the actual original sketches instead of the scrapbook pages you see I would love to have them so I can update the file with actual sketches.

I do plan to have my pages printed. I think 50 pages a book. At least that's what I plan to do for Jesse each year. I hope to have one book for my wedding and one book of heritage pages. It's a lot of work but it is so much fun!
