OK. It's been so long since we were all buzzin' about die cutting machines that I can't even remember what exactly the converter is.

BUT, I can tell you that I don't have one and haven't needed one at all for my BS! I DID however, invest in the BS Multi-Purpose Platform, which contains various "shim" layers to accommodate working with not only the BK/BS/Sizzix Original dies, but, also wafer dies of various brands, and embossing stencils/texture plates, etc.
