This week's sketch inspiration card was done by ssgilby. I think everyone else really enjoyed this card when it was first posted also, juding by the number of comments it has! I loved her use of color, a simple but stunning design, and dtp
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
I finally got a metallic reinker so I could try the polished stone technique, so I thought I would try it for this challenge - I think I have a new fav techinque! (although I don't think it scanned well) Thanks Andrea for the sketch!
It isn't exactly like the sketch, but I was using scraps, and the green behind the ornaments is really just a smidge at the top and a smidge at the bottom, so I couldn't have the ornaments on separate pieces with space b/n. I like how it turned out anyway -- I've been wanting to do that color combo on a Christmas card.

Ok, this is TOO FUN! I'm hooked on these SC's now and this is only my 2nd one! I was SUPPOSED to be out running errands today......but......
Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I got so excited that I completed 3 challenges this week, I forgot to include my link here. This was a fun challenge. I had a hard time finding a set that was small enough to fit 3 wide vertically.
*sigh* I just realized I ALWAYS forget to put SC46 or whatever into the keyword section. Oh well...I forget where I saw this, but I combined this challenge with the dry embossing technique recently added to the resources section. I flipped the paper and template over after embossing and sponged on color to make it pop out more...fun and easy!
When I have the time, I always like to try to challenge myself to make a card that combines the week's color, technique and sketch challenges. Here's this week's. It combines TLC37, CC35, SC46. I'm not sure whether I like the result or not!!
