Are you ready for some football?! The Super Bowl is this Sunday and that is the inspiration we'll be working with today. You don't have to use football on your card. See the following list for possible inspiration:
Superbowl Inspiration
a football card
team colors (Patriots - red, white, & navy; Giants - brilliant blue & white)
Superbowl Party
a hunky player
a famous Superbowl commercial
Limits
Limit your layers
Limit your embellishments
Limit your tools
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!
Sorry for the delay. I had a mild migraine from the approaching storm and the meds knocked me out. :rolleyes: But the good news is, that same storm means I'm home all day and can see your wonderful creations right away! I love snow days!

Oh, Jen, I hope you feel better soon, migraines are no fun! Must be the same storm that was headed for Ohio, but we just have a 2 hour delay here.

So sorry you're not feeling well, Jen. Hope your headache goes away and you can have some fun on a day off!
My team was so far out of the race this year I've almost lost interest in football, but not quite! I'll try to gather some enthusiasm and join in on the fun.
I know I have to make a new card, but I had to link this one here.. This is MY team.. I had to share it.. and it was perfect for the challenge... hope you enjoy.. I am off to make a new card...

What is the superbowl? Who is playing? What sport is that?
Well, this may be difficult for me. No one in this household is a big sports fan. I'll have to see if there is anything around here that will fit this challenge. I'll try to be a good sport about it! ;)

Being an English gal, I'm not a football fanatic (more of a rugby player myself...) But, for the men in my life (hubby and son), I made this with them in mind.

No card for me today. But I do like the challenge, Thanks Jen. Maybe I will tackle this another day. But I really need to vent. My son and family live about 1/4 mile away. their little dog loves to come visit us. This morning at 5:30 he was here wanting to come in the house. I let him in and immediately realized that he had tangled with a SKUNK!!!. My house smells terrible. He jumped up on the couch. My eyes burn...Where do I begin to get rid of this awful smell? Well I feel better already just getting a chance to complain. Have fun everyone creating a bunch of beauties.

Actually, the colors for both teams are red, white, and blue -- so I had to make sure you knew it was inspired by the Giants. I'm not a big Pats fan! Here's my card -- LSC153 Giant Birthday by Clownmom at Splitcoaststampers (although I think the Pats have a better chance of winning!)

Hi! Wow...I had to really bite the bullet and use New York colors....(I'm a Jaguar Fan, and STILL mad that Tom Coughlin didn't get US to the Super Bowl! LOL!)
