Hi! I am your guest host for this week's challenge. I am posting this early since tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I'm sure everyone has a lot going on, including myself and I didn't want to be late posting! This will give you more time to play too!
This week's technique is one that my awesome SU demo showed me over the summer. It's called expressiomistic and it's a pretty simple technique with great results!
Here are the directions:
Ink stamp in a vibrant color
Spritz water many times on inked stamp (amount will vary from stamp to stamp, so make sure you test first)
Immediately stamp image and leave stmp on the card stock for a few seconds for the ink to run
Let dry
Stamp image again, using a dark ink, over the first image
Don't forget to put TLC148 in your keywords!
(Remember, if you're not a member of the Fan Club, you will have to wait until tomorrow morning to upload)
I hope everyone has a joyous holiday! Thanks for playing!
Oh Riley, I commented on your card and didn't realize you were our guest Hostess! Sounds like fun, thanks for posting early! I will think on it in my dreams!

Thank you so much for posting early and for taking the time during this busy season to help out!!! I am really hoping that I have at least 1/2 hour tomorrow to try this out. If not, I will definitely try later this week.
Riley, thanks for a great challenge. I've not heard of this one and am anxious to try it. We'll see if I get time tonight, to do this. Merry Christmas ladies!

Well, it is actually Christmas Day here officially now (12.36am) and I still have two cards to make (which I'll be doing when I get up - along with a bit of tidying, prepping lunch, waking Maggie to see what Santa brought her - you know, I'll have heaps of time - LOL!!!!!) But I have an idea on how I can use this technique in one of the cards I need!!!!!
Here's my submission. This was fun (after I figured out to hold the stamp at arm's length when misting it!) Card for Baby Jesse
This card is for my soon-to-arrive great nephew. I missed the baby shower and ended up losing the card I made previously so this is the one I'm giving my niece today.

I thought this was an interesting technique, but it also looks a little like you couldn't quite match it up....so I think this will have to be sent with either an explanation, or to one of you who "get it!". Merry Christmas to all. Anne.

Looks like a great technique! Never even heard of it before....cool! Thanks for sharing!
I don't know if I'll be able to do it today, my husband has all the gifts laid out on the floor down by my stamp area. He's in wrapping mode now and I've been banned from the basement...lol
All the cards so far are so great!! i'm glad some of you have found time to do today's challenge... and I look forward to seeing those cards that have to wait until after Christmas!
Here is my card - great technique Riley! toook me a few trys to get the right amount of water on it! and then I had some trouble overstamping in the right place!! but I love how my card came out!!
In my busy-ness, I totally forgot to check on the challenge. Great one, Riley. Thanks for filling in. Now, do you think I can get a card done in about 20 minutes?
