Please join me in WELCOMING a GUEST SKETCH ARTIST for this week...She created some sketches for Embellish-It Online and I thought it would be fun to use her Scrapbook Sketch here in our challenges. This week's artist is: MICHELLE (flaxychick)
FYI: Sketches are is meant to be a starting point. Feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make it work for you!!! Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. When you scrap them please upload to your gallery and add SBSC117 to your keywords. If you use additional keywords, make sure you separate them with commas.

LOL! The page I JUST finished could have been done off this sketch with a few artistic liberties! Well I'll try and get a NEW one done sometime this week. Thanks for filling in!
So I did this page when I did Michelles card sketch...I know I'm kinda cheeting but I wanted to share it anyway. :> This is my October calendar page. I make a 6x6 calendar of the kids for all the grandparents and aunts and uncles. This year I'm making 8 and no I'm not even close to being done yet!!!
I actually did two layouts for this challange. BUt I didn't know how to put both of them on one post. However I am extreemly excited I figured out how to upload, and attach them to the challenge thread. Yeah me.
Thanks for featuring my sketch as this week's challenge! I hope everyone is having fun with it - I know I did with the page I made featuring my daughter all dressed up for a school dance.... SBSC117 Ready for the dance by flaxychick at Splitcoaststampers

I got a lo done with this page and i really like, now to find time to get out in the cold and get a decent picture to upload! Thanks for the inspiration!
Kristin-I'm so happy that you got the uploading all figured out! CONGRATS on participating and completing your FIRST SCS CHALLENGE! I look forward to seeing many, many more from you!
I've had this picture but wasn't sure what to do with just one picture on the layout. I usually like to get as many pictures on a page as I can, so this layout was perfect!!
OK, hope this qualifies for the sketch challenge. I made this page then scaled it down to 5x5 to fit on a square card for Christmas- I couldn't find any photo cards I liked and I am now too late to send hand stamped cards to everyone- only the dearest will get those this year-LOL!
The best part is that I can double dip and use this as my card and a SB page!
We had an ice storm last weekend, so since I was stuck in the house all weekend I got the chance to scrapbook for the first time in a couple of months. I had just taken this picture of my dog under the Christmas tree and I thought it was perfect for this sketch.
