I must admit:
- I don't like music that comes on automatically; I DO like the option to play it and listen.
- I don't like white text on a black background; hard on my eyes
- I don't like animated cursors; it always blocks my view from the very thing I'm trying to look closer at or read.
- I don't like partial feeds, where I'm forced to leave the Reader I use, and visit the blog to get the entire entry
However, as you said, Joan: a personal blog is one's space of self-expression. If they were to conform it to appease readers, it would compromise the integrity of the blog itself.
With my own, I'm the one paying for it, and investing the time and energy to maintain it, so I'm not gonna conform it to anyone else's preferences and people will either have to take it or leave it, as is their choice.
