Default Scor - Pal -- reviews please

I am looking at this tool, but want personal reviews before I purchase it. Have you ever used it? Do you like it? Pros and cons

Thanks,
Joanne

I love mine! It has earned a special place on my table; it does not EVER get put away (and rarely gets stuff piled on top of it as it is in use a lot!)

Default scoring tool

What's the name of the other tool like the Scor pal? I know I've seen it, but I can't remember...

Jutta

there is no other tool like the scorpal!! there's simply no comparison...many will try...none will succeed!!

okay...does that sound okay for the new infomercial?

the tool you are looking for is the scor-it...I've tried it and i wasn't really impressed....you have to move the paper for each score..and you have to figure out how to use the centering ruler which for me was really confusing for odd measurements....

I have the Scor-Pal and love it. I don't "score" as much as I should (or would like to ) but you can't beat it's ease or "no-brainerness".

I also have the Scor-It and have a much harder time with that. The scores don't seem to come out even.

Default the other scoring board is scor it

The other scoring board is called Score it.

A friend of mine has the Score Pal but finds it confusing with all the lines at different places. It is also easy to score across 2 lines if you aren't careful.

My new one should arrive this week. Sweet Diane gifted me one for the amount of cards I have sent to the troops. She is amazing. You will love your Scor Pal. I had the original one and gave it to my sis when Diana told me she was sending me one of the new ones. I really used it a lot.

I have been envying my mother's for months! I even took some stuff over to score there & then stamp at home. It is the only tool on my "must buy" list at the moment.

I had the first one, had to have the newer one, and now my sister has my first one! LOL I think I am in love with my Scor Pal. It is an exceptionally wonderful tool that I would not be without. I use it more than my Cropadile, my Cuttlebug, and my Bind It All. :-) And if you've been around here long, you'll know I am all over those tools! The Scor Pal is on par with my ATG--that's how much I use it!

I luv, luv, luv mine & could not do without it!!! I wish I could get the new one though with all the new added lines & measurements on the sides...it looks great, but I can't afford it since I already have the older version. If you buy it, you will luv it!!! Good luck with your decision.

I ordered the new version last week and it's in the mail! I do have to say that I had the big Scor-It and loved it. I sold it when the mini came out and bought a mini. I still love it. The Scor-Pal will be another tool to use as needed. (Like with the gate-folded cards, etc.) I still like the hinge fold that the Scor-It gives me but I am challenged when it comes to scoring multiple lines. Ha! I also saw the neat tutorial that Nicole had on her blog showing how to make the 2-4-6-8 box with the Scor-Pal. Ah.. that was it for me.

I got on the forums to see if anyone had heard any pro's or con's on the Scor-it, and now there is a Scor-pal. Does anyone have a link to the scor-pal so I can look at it? Also, if you had to get one or the other which does everyone prefer. TIA!!

I have the new one and LOVE it. It makes it so easy to do all kinds of boxes and cards. My 7 yo DS used it the other day to make a tail for his turkey school project.

Default Scor pal

I need to stay off of this site! It costs so much! My ATG gun just got here, my Frugalities order came last week and I am still waitin for the Papertey order! I may be missing something, but doesn't it seem like a lot ($39.95) for a piece of plastic with grooves in it? But in the next breath, I'm asking, who has the best price? Do any of the big box stores carry it so that we could use a coupon? I still want the Cuttlebug too, ya know and I've got to pace myself....

you will not regret buying this 'piece of plastic with grooves' it gives great, straight scores every time! I absolutely love it and use it several times each day. I believe the only place to buy it is from www.scor-pal.com It is well worth the price!

Default Scor-It Mini

Just got my scor-it mini, I was alittle disappointed in the size of it, and found out the owner of the store will not exchange it for the larger one. Bummer for me! Anyhow, it seems the largest score you can make is at 4 1/2". I was planning on making some of the acetate cards for a swap that are 5 1/4" square. I am now contemplating buying the Scor-Pal. Can anyone tell me what the dimensions are of the board?? How big of a score you can make and if you've had any problems with the tool slipping out of the score track??? Thanks for all your help. Anyone interested in a Scor-It Mini?????

Well, I am the most impatient person I know, next to my mother, which is probably where I got it from. Anyhow, I am now ALSO the proud owner of a Scor-Pal. My husband is going to kill me!! He gave me a funny look when I brought home the Scor-It earlier today. I guess I will now try them both out and will let you know what I think. Thanks for all your input!

Smile Scor-Pal

Okay, let's try this again. I've heard so much about the Scor-Pal that I decided to order one. I must say I'll be so glad to be able to scor my cards without messing them up!
