"Water for Elephants" is a story set in a traveling circus in the 1930's. The story is told from the perspective of Jacob, who is now in a retirement home. He was the vet at the circus. It's about the different characters and animals who make a living at the circus. It has love, mystery, and thrills. I'm sure I'm not doing it justice in explaining it. It's a real page turner. I would say it's the best book I've read this year. You don't know what's going to happen next..and you can't wait to find out. HTH!
