Hi! I'm new to the site, and wrote a little poem about my excitement for the new catty to arrive! I've been a demo since Feb 2005, so this is my first new catty!
�Twas The Day of Delivery

�Twas the day of delivery, and here at my house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Not leaving the house today, nope, I don�t dare,
In hopes the new catalogue soon would be there.
My wish list from the old catty, it�s all planned out,
Retired accessories, I can�t do without.
Got to order them soon, only have one more day,
Before they�re all gone, no more left to play.
When out on the street there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The brown truck was parked in front of my place,
I ran to the door � no time to waste.
With a little old driver, so lively and chatty,
I knew in a moment, it must be the new catty.
More rapid than normal, with my box he came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called me by name!
�Here�s your shipment ma�am, my you look glad,
You look like it�s the best day that you�ve had!�
I told him I loved him, he just made my day,
Now give me that box and get out of my way!
Before he was gone the box was open wide,
I gazed at the cover of the new catty and sighed.
With pleasure I opened it, grabbed my coffee cup,
To see what was new and changed with Stampin� Up!
New stamp sets! New accessories! New wheels! Oh my!
If DH saw my wish list, he�d surely die.
With all of the wonderful new stamp sets,
On July 1st, my minimum I�ll have met.
I want them all, it�s so hard to choose,
And my customers can�t wait to hear the good news!
In a week, I�ll know all the stamp sets by name,
What stuff is different, what is the same.
I�m just so excited to get the new IB&C,
Just as I�m sure you all do agree!
Perfect! I'll have to send it to my Club members - they are just as hysterical to get it as I am. We are going to have a "sprinkler day" Wednesday & drink cheap pink wine on the porch while the kids run in the sprinkler! Do you mind if I borrow to send? Promise to give you due credit!

My excitement is building, I'm stuck in my house,
with only hints of what's in it by the click of a mouse!!

But where is my UPS guy in the brown suit?
I've heard tales of "freebies" arriving by post,
But it still hasn't gotten to the Texas Gulf Coast!!!!!!

Both of those are great Tammy and Liz!!! Wish I had that poem thing going on in my brain! I am not a demo, but still can't wait for the catalog. I am probably driving my demo nuts, even though we are good friends!!! Til tomorrow ~ maybe it WILL come!!!

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
Ladies this is hilarious!!! Liz I too am in your shoes. I live in north TX by Ok and my catty should be on it's way. i called my demo today and that is what she told me. These 2 poems are fab. Such a wonderful imagination. TFS
