***LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE 15. Everyone is welcome to PLAY!
It's Friday and time for another LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE!! Remember what it was like before you had a whole room full of stamping supplies? Let's see what everyone can come up with from this list. Remember that you can use any combination of things on this list, but you cannot use anything not listed below. When you upload your card to the gallery please put LSC15 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. Everyone is welcome to play - even if you've never done a challenge before...please join us!!!
This week's focus will be a little different. What happens when you need a card for a special occassion, but don't have any stamps specifically for that occassion? You have to be creative. This week we will be focusing on 2 June events: Graduation and Wedding. For your Graduation card you maynot use a grad cap, diploma, or any other traditional grad image. For your wedding card you may not use bells, doves, wedding cake, or any other stamp that is obviously for a wedding card. You may not use a sentiment stamp that says "Congratulations" or "Best Wishes".
Supplies:
Stamps:
Choose up to 4 stamp sets to use for any and all cards this week (includes BG stamps, sentiment sets, alphabets, anything except an image obviously meant for the occassion)
Cardstock: Anything goes
Ink: Anything Goes
Accessories: Your choice, PLUS Any regular household item such as bleach, staples, waxpaper, etc.
If you can't upload to the gallery you can still play at home. You don't need everything on the list to play. Just use what you have.
You are more than welcome to combine this challenge with any of the other challenges going on during the week. I'm really needing inspiration for a grad card so I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Alright this one will be interesting. I have a General Physcology exam tomorrow but I should be able to play this weekend. Now, off to bed to rest up for that terrifying exam...

Oh and I suppose stamps that say Happy Wedding Day are out of the question too right? Just checking!

Ooooh, that IS challenging! Good thinkin there Jami! I didn't read the desciption first, I just read the supply list and thought "gee, that's not much of a challenge" then I saw a comment or two, went back, and was like "ooooooh... that's going to be hard!". I do have one wedding card that would match this challenge: Happy Together
But now I'm going to work on a gradualtion card!

Ooooo! I can't wait to get home from work to try this one. Ok, I've got 8 hours to think about what I am going to try. I don't know if I can wait that long!

Wow! What a great challenge. I had a busy last week of school and have 3 challenges to work on. Not sure which one I will try first, but I will definately be playing and uploading some time soon. Thanks Jami.
This is a card I did about a month ago for my sister's graduation from UH. It's fits the criteria, but I'm adding a disclaimer that I need more SU! ribbon...you can totally see the difference in this card with non-SU! ribbon. But anyway, I'll add this for now and work on a wedding card this weekend (hopefully). Thanks for the challenge!!
Jami, I came over! I always look at your LSC, but have never been able to quite qualify. I got my 1st SU order in Feb. so I really am challenged. It does make me have to use my "thinking cap" more often. I would really like to try this challenge. May take a day or two. Gardening is top priority today and tomorrow, but.......can't garden in the dark! Thanks for your nice comment on my 1st SC card too. Have a great day, Nancy
Here are my cards. I try to make graduation cards appropriate to the person receiving them. The blue one (school colors blue and silver) is for a boy who has decided to become a minister. The gold one (school colors gold and black) is for a young lady who is very elegant and feminine. The inside has a quote that says, "Chance favors the prepared mind."
I have never tried any of the challenges before. Guess I never think my cards are good enough, the other ladies on this site do such a better job than I. But here it goes any way. I did enjoy creating these and hope the receipents enjoy them just as much.
photos are still pending uploaded them at 9:30pm central time
Ok, thought I would try this one too since I never can find wedding stuff when I need it. Pending approval, here's my card combined with the sketch challenge:
This will be my first limited supply challenge, can't wait to try some more of these. I had uploaded this one a couple of days ago and it fits the qualifications for wedding. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have a few more ideas so I'll be back
Joanne
