I was JUST at the dollar store! Where I am in Canada, it's called the "Looney Store", because the $1 coins here are called "Looney" 's, they have loons on them (as in the bird). My Mom and I laughed so hard the first time we saw one! Anyhow, I actually found a few things, one of them being a date stamp!

I'll have to play around later! Fun challenge!!
