Ever since I started taking Ritalin, I have been a reading maniac!!!! It's amazing how I can actually keep focus while reading. I read two books last week:
Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen: This book was AWESOME! It is a love story embedded in the circus culture. You can definitely tell that the author did a lot of research and it's very authentic. I didn't want this book to end and I didn't want to do any housework because I wanted to READ!!!
I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith: I think someone on this thread (way back) read this book and I wrote it down. It was marvelous. It's set in England and is about a offbeat, bohemian family living in a decrepit castle. It takes place in the the 1930s, I think, and is mesmerizing. If you like Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, then you will LOVE this book. It was very easy to read, too.
