TLC124 - Scrappy Stripes
This week's challenge is completely inspired by the cards made for TLC123 by WendyBell and her daughter WendyBell'sGirl. They made the neatest backgrounds from strips of paper that were scraps. I just love it when you can make something awesome from something that might have ended up in the trash can.
Check them out!
WendyBell card
WendyBell'sGirl card
So your challenge is to make a background from those leftover strips of paper. Please use keyword TLC124.

HERE to see all the creations for this challenge.
Have fun!

I am so ready to have time to stamp. Grandkids went home yesterday and I still need to catch up some around here and Start stamping again. Still more going on later in the week, but hopefully I can do this one as I have tons of scraps to sort thru. Thanks Beth.

Regardless of the fact that I have tons of scraps, this is still going to be a tough challenge for me, because I am soooo NOT a stripey person. But, I'm game -- will see what I can come up with. Thanks for the challenge, Beth.

Good Morning! I'm back from vacation and ready for the challenge! I'll have to play a little later but it's good to be back.
however....here's a card I did a couple of weeks ago and it qualifies for the challenge:
TLC124, Relax....Masterboard Card II by parkerquilter at Splitcoaststampers
I did the stripes and then cuttlebugged the whole thing.

Awesome idea Beth...now if my results would be as wonderful as Wendy's and her daughter's I'd be ecstatic. Hope to give it a try later today.

I probably won't have time to do any stamping until the weekend, but I hate to being able to play! So...here's one I did a few weeks ago. I glued my scrap strips to a piece of cardstock (scrap, of course), ran the cardstock through my Cuttlebug, then trimmed it to the shape I needed:

Sorry, I misread the challenge, so I have removed my card. It should disappear from the gallery as soon as the editing catches up.
