Under the Dollar Store Finds topic I posted about finding these clip frame magnets at Dollar Tree. I have transformed one from BOOORRING to beautimous, so here is what they looked like before:
jan - I need a couple of those with only minor improvements! I need some fish stamped in the middle instead of the words and then they'd be great for my new fishy bathroom decor. I don't know if any of the dollar stores around here are Dollar Tree. I'll have to add those in to my route.
Wow! Jan, that's great!!!
I think I need another trip to my $ store!
You know what I found the other day at the $ store? Stamp-a-mugs! Okay, they didn't call them that, but they're the same thing for 99 cents. I thought they were around $5 in the catalog, so when I got home I tried to find them to see what the price was. That's when I found out they're not in the new catalog. I didn't realize they didn't sell them any more. Oh well, for 99 cents they'll still be cool to stamp and use as door prizes and such.

Wow - you did a great job on these. You should send one into SU!
I love love love how you tranformed it. What a great gift to give to my hostessess....hope you don't mine me CASEing.
CASE away! I was so thrilled that that Happy Birthday frame fit so nicely, but there are tons of stamp sets that would work equally as well. And if you like the quote the frame comes with and have one of the SU! font cds, you could always redo it with an SU! font and stamp the frame.
I only bought two of these frames; I'm going to be returning to stock up myself!
Okay this may be a stupid question.... but here goes.
In the first photo. is only paper behind the glass or is it painted on and you removed somehow? Please a little more detail. Thanks for the visually impaired kiki!
We have a McFrugals here in Phoenix, and they had something called "Glue Tape." Well, it's almost like the Mono-Adhesive, in a cartridge and you use it in the same way. Anyway, I go through tons of mono in my make-and-take workshops and all the projects that I do, and it was getting very expensive. So, I bought all of the Glue Tape cartridges the store had, and now use them for myself and use the Mono-Adhesive at my workshops. The cartridges are only .99!!!!!!!
So, if you have one in your city, run, don't walk... and pick some up.
Just to add to the dollar tree store finds....I found 61/2 x 61/2 vellum cardstock envelopes with notecards that are 12 x 6 folded. 4 for a dollar! So I bought all they had (5). So $5 for 20 envelopes and 20 notes! There were other sizes as well. I couldn't pass them up since the SU price is 6.95 for 10!
