I'm intimidated by this set. I don't know which words to put together. You can only see one side, the other is hidden so when I want to find a word I'd have to search all 28 blocks?! There has to be someone who has mastered the art of mounting this set. Help!!!

I was intimidated to - but I'm loving what I ended up doing. I just scanned my box, but I don't think I can post it here. So if you send me your e-mail address I will pop it off to you and you can decide if you like it.
For all those wondering - I cut the "stickers" way down. On the top I placed the word that had the coordinating stamp on the long side and on the bottom is the word that coordinates with the stamp on the end - so I have both word "stickers" placed on top of the block so that I will know what words are mounted on each block without pulling them all out of the box to see the second word. The only stamps I did not do this with were the symbols. Those I needed to mount the "alphabet way" because of size. Hope this helps.
Man, I wish I had thought of that! I already mounted mine...I am just going to stamp the words on small strips of paper and put them in the bottom of the box so that I can see where the stamps are and what ones are together...
I wrote a number on all my blocks and then typed up a numbered list with what words are on what blocks. I made 2 copies, one faces the outside of the box, and one is on the inside for when the lid is open. Now, I can just look at the list to see what word is on what block. Working great for me.

PS It took over an hour to mount though---it's a drag! But a very neat set.
Does this set come with the dividers? That would keep them straight so you can read them! On all my sets I make a copy of the sticker sheet before I put the set together. I then tape the copy on the inside cover. This way I know what is in there and my customer also know what goes in this set if more than one is out at a time. I was thinking about getting this set when the catty came out. Now I have to get it!

For the most part, I tried to pair similar words together (like daughter and son, sister and girl, etc.) Of course, what makes sense to me may not to another person, but hey...they're my stamps
I took the long words (on one side) and wrote one of the short words under it, then crossed it off of the short side of the copy. I kept going until I had all of the words paired.
Then I went through and mounted them as I had planned on the copy. I think I may have made one or two changes, but not many...I didn't want to end up with 2 long words on the same block!
I want to stamp on some address labels so they can stay at the bottom of the box. Hopefully, if there's some sort of order I can find them after a while.
Obviously I am way too rigid. The only way I could think to mount this set was alphabetically. All the long words first, then the shorter words on the side. Now I just need to make a list of all the words, and alphabetize it, and put it in the box. And I thought double alphabets were a lot of work! It took me over an hour and a half to mount this set - and I am not the slowest to admit it. I know it is going to be a lot of fun once I get used to this set. Meantime, I remain, like you, intimidated. Even with it on the wood. Klutz and sissy?
I posted this before, but somehow it ended up under "announcements" and probably won't get viewed often. This is a overwelming list I found on SU's site, but it references there that it actually came from SCS (somewhere, I'm not sure where though!) . I'm planning to make copies of this and show to my customers for ideas & give them a copy if they purchase the set.
