This week's ways to use it challenge it to find different ways to use TAGS. This came partially as a request for ways to use metal tags in cards but I am broadening (is that a word?) it to include tag cards, tags from the SU tag sheets, any gift tags for presents and you can even make your own. We'd love to see lots of cards and/or gift tags so the sky is the limit.
Please don't forget to put WT07 in the keyword section and post a link back to this thread so that we can all be inspired by your work.
Have an awesome week and happy stamping,
Julia
PS to MamaK - I KNOW you can do this challenge as I've seen a lot of tags in your work lately!

I made a card at a class a couple of months ago, using a metal tag, that is in my gallery. I was the only one who made that card and I hurried through it and didn't get my words straight, but I embossed on the metal tag. It was a fun technique, but I have never bought any metal tags to do anymore of it. I had to layer four layers of embossing powder to get it thick enough to take the image. You have to stamp the image really quickly as it doesn't stay hot
enough for long. Hang on to your tag with the tweezers as it gets very hot to hold!! I love to try new things and I usually learn things the hard way:-)
How cool! I was trying to catch up on a couple challenges today (still can't use wheels or the brayer, but at least I can do a little stamping again) and incoporated tags in two cards without knowing they would fit this week's WT challenge:

I fihished my 10th brown paper bag book so here are a couple of the pages I used tags on. I tried to use some of the ones I got on a SU special ,a long time ago, that I have never used!
What a fun challenge. I love tags. I have several cards in my gallery already with tags. I didn't put the Challenge number in the title, because I have alrady posted them. I'm trying to come up with some more ideas. Hopefully, I'll be able to post more here.

Here are mine. I did the first one as the wheel challenge from last week (but then realized I'd used a tag so included it here) and the second one I did just for this challenge. I love these challenges. I am learning so much and getting great new ideas!
Here's one I did this afternoon. I added a little tag since it needed something and that made it fit 3 challenges. Thanks, Julia! Keep those challenges coming!
I added another tag. This one I forgot to say was folded to the hole, then the edge was rubbed with versamark and embossed. I learned this a craft class at a local shop.
Finally had a chance to play a bit. Kinda sad, but it is Mother's Day and both my kids are gone, and my mom is too far away to spend the day with her, so on the bright side, I decided to stamp the afternoon away.
I combined this chaalenge with a previous sketch challenge that I have really been wanting to do. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Uh oh Julia's trying to get me addicted to yet another challenge! (Not very hard to do though!) I posted this link for TLC11 and she also directed me here.
Wow! THe cards and participation the past week have been awesome. I find myself wanting to incorporate tags all the time now. Thanks for all the great ideas! I still have a few more tag ideas I'd like to try out and this week's Sketch Challenge lends itself perfectly to round tags so feel free to keep posting to this thread. Just because we are on to something new doesn't mean we still don't want to see more tags!
This week's challenge is now posted at the following link. I hope it inspires you as much as the tags.
