Inspiration Challenge 74 - Cake Stand - IC74
Thank you Susan (aka Rainy) for sharing this Cake Stand from the Horchow catalog.

There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping! View the attached image. You may be inspired to recreate the piece - but that isn't necessary...get your inspiration from the colors, layout, or 'theme'. Don't worry - no card is 'wrong'!

Cool Inspirational challenge!! So many ways to go with this one - - got something in mind. I am about tired of cakes and cookies, though. Just finished baking my 100th cookie for a bake sale tomorrow and it is 11:50PM!! DH is out of town, so, I might actually get to work on this. Thanks for posting it.

Really neat inspiration piece. I love this one. Now to go see what I can come up with.....
Later - Well, here it is. I really like the cake stand -- the card was hard to come up with. A little odd, but I guess it turned out okay. The red triangle is supposed to be reminiscent of a napkin.... Thanks for looking! Great challenge, Karen!

What a great cakestand! Thanks, Susan and Karen, for sharing it with us. This was a fun card to make. BTW, one of my other hobbies is collecting salt and paper shakers. The Cinderella and Slipper is one of about 150 sets that I have. I thought it would be an appropriate accent piece for the photo.

I was kind of restricted because I needed to do masculine get well cards. So this is what I came up with. I need to stamp all day! We just arrived near Gunnison, CO - our summer location, and I am looking out the window at a beautiful snowfall - good day to stay in.
