LSC114 - Follow the List #2
Recently, I went back and looked at the very first limited supply challenges. It all started with very specific lists of stamps, products, and accessories. I thought it would be fun to do that again. Not every week but once in awhile.
You dont have to use everything on the list; just not more. If its not on the list (including techniques), its not on the list. Have fun with it!
Follow the List #2
Food stamps
Sentiments
Up to 2 backgrounds (stamps)
Hemp or fibers
Brads
Sponging, tearing, distressing
Faux stitching
Paper piercing
CS & Ink: Earth Elements and/or bold brights + neutrals
Stuck on a layout? Try one of the weekly sketch challenges. They are winners!
Keyword: LSC114
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Oh, at first I thought you meant food stamps like the kind you buy groceries with (LOL). I don't have any food stamps (of any kind). I'll just see what treasures everyone comes up with!

I wanted to get one out quick so I felt productive while I am being sleep deficient, so I have been stalking this for an hour~LOL! I will stamp off images and color them when watching tv or when my kids are riding thier bikes. MAkes putting something together quick possible ~maybe all this thinking is why I can not sleep like normal people. Anyway...
Baby Lion
It is not the most detailed card, but hopefully it works. I will be trying this one after some sleep(wish me luck in finding sleep)
Thank you for an awesome challenge and getting it up early!

Thanks for posting early! This looks like lots of fun! Now I have something to mull over as I drift off to sleep. I still have my Ways To Use It Challenge to mull over too. It's almost done, it's just eluding me at the moment.

I made this in under 30 minutes=that is probably a record for me! LOL
So tricky-I had to make my criss-cross card that was in teh tutorial a few weeks back and tape down the sides since I could not use ribbon. I like the end result!
Pretty Princess Cakes
Here is what I used from Jen's list:
Food stamps
Sponging, tearing, distressing
Faux stitching
Paper piercing
CS & Ink: Earth Elements and/or bold brights + neutrals
I like the white gel pen on the chocolate chip cardstock-why did I never do that before?
eta: I have another idea, but since it is 12:34 am, it will have to wait until morning.
Thanks Jen!

Go, Britta! You are one quick chick! I actually finished a card, too, but won't upload 'til the morning so I can take a picture in natural light. I'm proud of me, though!

I stayed up late for me and finished my card. I really like these 'list ' challenges. Have to be careful! I started to use designer paper, and I wanted to use some punches for some of the layout. But....Jen said NO. So here is my EARTH ELEMENTS card.

Ok...so I almost passed out when I realized that we couldnt use ribbon:( Eekkk! That alone makes for a great challenge, Jen. Thanks.
It made it easy to choose which stamp to use...only had one food stamp!!!
Also had to be creative with hemp in lieu of ribbon:
Here's mine:
CK LSC114 Apples are my only food stamp by Cammie at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking!

How fun!
I didn't think I had any food stamps, but now that I see what other SCSer's are using I am getting some ideas. Thanks coming up with a fun challenge! I hope to create something soon!

Sounds like fun. First thing that popped into my head was chocolate! I actually have a stamp that is either a choc. chip or kiss. But I probably have some birthday cakes -- oh yeah, I just got treat yourself and have all natural. Guess I do have some food stamps. But it's 1:00 and I need some zzzzzzzz's. Tomorrow... or I guess that would be later today...
