Oh, what a fun shoe! I need some of those! I'll have to see what I can come up with, but it's almost 1:00 a.m., so I really think I should go to bed now.
k, am home from a far-away (60 miles round trip) workshop that isn't even a party yet...sheesh! I need some FUN stamping to make me feel better...will think on this and post tomorrow! Thanks Karen!

I've got a full day today -- Girls' Day with my friend: stamping, dinner, movie! So I just had time to do a quick one, but I like the way it came out. Now to have breakfast and vacuum before my friend gets here. I'll check back later for everyone's cards! Happy Saturday, all!
No offense, Karen, but that shoe reminds me of why I don't mind getting old!!! However, it sure was a fun challenge to come up with something other than camoflage and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the early posting!
Wow, that's quite a shoe! I'm off to DD's soccer game soon, so I'll be thinking about this and will try it out later today... don't want to miss this challenge! I'm 5 for 5 so far this week!
Neat challenge Karen! Not everyone likes that sneaker, but to me it looks like what Basic Grey paper would look like if it were shoes. I've ordered some BG paper but it hasn't come yet, so I'll have to think of something else for the inspiration. But first I have some work to do so I can't play yet. Thanks for giving me something more interesting to think about in the back of my mind than the presentation I have to write!
Just thought I'd procrastinate from working on my presentation and satisfy my curiosity about these sneakers. They are $175 (!) and here's the blurb about Paul Smith, the designer:
Expect the Unexpected: About Paul Smith
His philosophy"Expect the unexpected"has propelled this self-taught British designer to knighthood and a top spot in the design world. His signature style is classic with a twist, often infused with a very British sense of humor.
So these shoes have a very British sense of humour? Must be Edina Monsoon humour....
Got my work done before my girlfriend got here, so I was able to check out today's creations. Lots of good ideas from that inspiration. Those are the funkiest sneakers I've ever seen. My boss would definitely wear them. She's a little funky herself. And she'd pay the $175!!!
