Color Combo Challenge! (new Tuesday Challenge)
I'm gonna start posting these on Tuesdays to fill in our challenge week 
Make a card using the color combo of the week and put "CC01" in your keywords so we can search for it!
This week's color challenge, in honor of St. Patrick's Day is gable green and green galore!

Dumb question though: Are we just limited to the color combo you give us or can we supplement with other accent colors?

we have the technique on monday's
this will be tuesdays
you are wednesdays with the sketch
thursdays are limited supply challenge
saturdays are scrap sketch
I think that's everything??

A quick and easy little card:

The colors are off in the scan....*sigh*
I have done several color variations of this card: pink passion/turquoise; yellow and orange; red and green with the holiday stamp. |

I got one done, however, from the time I read the challenge to the time it took to walk to my stamp room and get cardstock, the green galore got changed in my head to glorious green (  ) It looks okay though, so I'm not gonna redo it. Now, if I can just find the cable to my digital camera I will upload it. (I'm starting to get the feeling I spend way too much time here and stamping, and not enough time cleaning) __________________

I really like this idea! I never really knew what the challenge things were all about...this is great motivation and a great nudge in the right direction for inspiration to make a card!
When are the challenges posted each day? I think sometimes I miss when they are posted. As you can see it is Thursday and this post started on Tuesday...and TRUST ME...I am here everyday about 25 times or more! LOL!
Is there a certain time these challenges get posted? And would anyone care to fill me in on each challenge and what they entail? For example the Sketch Challenge? I have seen posts and pics in the gallery...what is it? I don't understand! :?

Wow, something to get a going everyday of the week...I can't wait till my ribs heal (I had a fall down the stairs, dummy me) so I can get back to stamping. Sure won't have any trouble trying to get creative with all you Gals being so inspirational!

There's not a certain time, depends on that particular person's schedule. You can always go to forums and do a search. It should bring them all up.

Here's a little more about each challenge...
For the Sketch Challenge, AndreaSophie posts a "sketch" of a card layout, and the original card that inspired the sketch. We then go make a card with that layout, using any colors, stamps, embellishments we like. Ditto for the Scrapbook Challenge....create a layout using the sketch.
For the Technique Challenge, I post the particular technique of the week, with either the directions on how to do it, or a link on how to do it. Then you go make a card using that technique.
For the Limited Supply Challenge, Jami posts a list of supplies that you can use to make any kind of card you want. The catch is that you can *only* use those supplies and nothing else.
For the Color Combo Challenge, MamaKimberly posts a color combination to use with a card. You can add more colors as accents, but the main focus must be with the colors she listed.

All Right here is my attempt at this. After getting all excited because I knew exactly what I wanted to do, I couldn't because I had no RC. Oh well, I really like the way the background of this turned out, but I think it needs something else yet. I was too tired last night, not coming up with anything. Any ideas?

Ok, something weird is happening. I posted a reply and I noticed it was on page 3 of 2 along with another post (I think from disneywed). Now there is no third page and those posts are missing. Trying to post this reply to see if it will work.
All right seems to be working now. Don't know what was going on, but I gave it at least an hour thinking mabe there was just a delay or something.

I love new challenges! The next couple of weeks are going to kill me, I committed to scrapping a wedding album for a friend's 50th anniversary. I promised myself I wouldn't get distracted cause I want it to be beautiful! So I put away all my stamps except the one I'll be using for the album. I'll try and catch up after I'm done!
