I have an empty stamp cleaner bottle. Do you know of something else I could use to clean my stamps with or should I just order a refill of the cleaner? I have one of those cleaning pad things that I use to clean all my stamps. I love how it works but ran out just yesterday.
I just fill mine with a little bit of soap detergent with water and use that. Then for a good cleaning and moisturizing of the stamps I prefer the mist. But the water and soap will work in a pinch
I second the Ultra Clean. It even takes off old ink stains. I bought a retired stamp set off ebay and when it came the rubber was black. I sprayed the ultra clean right on the stamps and let them sit for about a minute and it all came off. It's the best.

I placed an order a couple of months ago from GinaK and she threw in a small bottle of the Ultra Cleaner. I now have just ordered a full size bottle because I am totally amazed how this stuff cleans up the rubber. It conditions it as well. I'm also not having to spray every 10 minutes on my scrub because this stuff also seems to stay wet, even until the next day.

I love the SU! cleaner. It keeps my stamps in great shape, and cleans them up in a snap. I was experimenting with different cleaners for a couple of months now, and I ran across an AMAZING bubble gum smelling cleaner from Hobby Lobby (I'd say it was... $3?)
Not on topic;; but if your stamps aren't getting clean from a dark ink pad, use an electric toothbrush. I like to put a little bit of mist on it and the dye goes away!!: ) (I've invested in one specifically for this)
I know alot of people will disagree with me but you should never use anything to clean your stamps on a regular basis that is not made for cleaning stamps. It might not seem like it at the time but over time it can damage your stamps, we spend alot of money on our stamps and they will last a life time if cleaned properly and left out of heat and sunlight.
Sorry, this is one thing I'm really **** about;) I'll get off my soapbox now!!
Or should I say anti-soap box??
The ultra clean is amazing for staz on and other stubborn stains, but I do not recommend it for regular dye ink -- it's over kill. Regular stampin mist or a baby wipe (or I use water!) works fine for dye ink.
I've found that too much ultra clean wrecks the skin on my hands, so wash after using it and then moisturize!

Has anyone tried diluting the Ultra Clean a little bit, if it's overkill for regular dye inks. That's what I mainly use, but I do get stains with my Palette and Memories black inks. I'm interested in trying some of this stuff!

There is no need to dilute it. If you spray in on a scrubber, you will use so very little of it because it stays wet for days. In fact, often just a light misting revitalizes it.
Don't get it on your acrylic blocks. It's fine for the clear stamps but causes annoying crackling on the acrylic blocks. Well, it's annoying to me 'cause it makes it harder to see through.
I LOVE my UltraClean, thought. Got it from PaperTrey Ink.

I had the crackling happen on my blocks from smartrubber, but I think there is a notice on there about using certain cleaners, if I remember correctly. My acrylic blocks from TAC though have not been affected.
Here's smart rubbers notice (well the link for it....)
I use a SU "Yo Yo Yellow" stamp pad for removing SU's black stamp pad ink from my rubber stamps. I bought one just for the purpose. After cleaning the rubber stamp with the scrub pads, I use the yoyo stamp pad and scrub the rubber stamp really well, then clean it again with the SU stamp cleaner and scrub pad.
Want to save money on stamp scrubber? I use two flat plastic lids and two new paint pads. Then, when I'm done stamping and cleaning, I spray FOrmula 409 on the scrubbers, soak a minute or two, scrub them with my finger tips, then rinse very well with water. Once dry, they're ready to use again! (I just used double-sided tape to attach the pads to the lids - they've lasted over a year with just the tape!) NOTE: I always use SU stamp cleaner spray on the pads!
