I'm in Florida! (Apopka, just nw of, but practically in Orlando)
And in response to your crazy friends - I say it's too hot to be out in that weather! I'd rather be inside with the A/C and my stamps!
Hey Dawn and Julie! I'm in Sanford. Vanessa you are not too far over there in Apopka. Lilfoot, where are you from? This is a fun thread! Maybe we could meet in the middle and have a stampfest sometime!

Palm Coast, FL...I'm not there now, but will be come mid-October. I'm sure summer has been much better than there in Ballston Lake, NY. Palm Coast is about halfway between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
I am in Coconut Creek, FL Which is not far from Ft. Lauderdale.
Also new to this board thanks to my good friend Jenn W. who sent me SU goodies for my birthday and has me hooked!! And I married the UPS guy so I get my packages as soon as he gets them on the truck!!
Viera here! ("New" town between Rockledge and Melbourne on the "Space Coast.") And, yes, it's too hot! I teach school, and burned my shoulders today sitting out at recess.
I would be very interested in a "meet in the middle SCS Central FL gathering." Melissa
Sarah,
I always explain "Viera", because people think "Vero!"
I grew up in Cocoa Beach and taught at Audubon Elem. in Merritt Island for 7 yrs. I'm now at the new school they built behind the baseball stadium in Viera. Are you originally from Brevard? Melissa
I am in Southwest Orlando here, by Disney. I would love to have a Central Florida get together. My mom lives in Viera as well..she is the reason I am a stampaholic now...lol.. Thanks Mom!
Lisa M.
It all started with just one stamp set I had to have!
Wesley Chapel checking in. It is about 20 miles north of Tampa. I stamp until October then the weather starts to be wonderful. I will have to pull myself inside to stamp. I love Florida in the fall.
Stamping Dreams,
Laura

I am in Navarre, near pensacola and ft walton beach. I don't mind the heat as much as the humidity!! When it get high I definately would rather be inside in the a/c!! When it starts to get cooler it is nice but sometimes I miss the 4 seasons!! Originally from Colorado! Just don't miss shoveling the snow! Happy Stamping!
Perry here - that black dot on the map in the middle of nothing between Chiefland and Tallahassee on Hwy 19 - arm pit of Florida! Actually "The Big Bend" area. TS Bonnie made land fall on our beach - Keaton. Well, not actually nothing - LOTS of pine trees! I love it! I'm in North Florida and moved here in 1997 from Sunrise, FL (just west of Ft. Lauderdale - between Pembroke Pines and Coral Springs - with a few other "blink your eyes you're in another city" in between) - just before they started building the new hockey arena behind Sawgrass Mills Mall - I lived 5 minutes from there. I love the green here, but miss the shopping!
I agree - too hot to be out! I'm in stamping! Well, visiting with you guys at the moment!
I was just wondering how many Florida stampers in here.
Most of my friends say the weather is too great to be stamp at home, they are so wrong!
I also embroider, and this is very true. Th lady who runs the needlework shop I patron has a real drop in business in the summer when her "snow birds" go home.
We can easily get out all year long so many indoor hobbies and crafts are just not as popular. But, at the rate they are building JoAnn's etc and Michael's, someone is still crafting!
Suburb of Orlando.
Good morning Shelly - I'm still doing the "Snoopy happy dance" because we have power again.
Julie - remind the girls we are praying for them as they move and get settled.
