IC69 - Picasso
Inspiration Challenge 69 - Pablo Picasso - IC69
Apparently some people just can't get enough of the April Fools jokes (you know who you are), so in honor of this weekend's fun day, let's have a little fun!
This simple line drawing is done by Pablo Picasso - not exactly what I think of when I think Picasso. If you really are just not inspired by Mr. Camel, then create a card that isn't your normal style (these are challenges remember *wink*) or at least a funny card. Enjoy!
Please use the IC69 keyword when uploading your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number).
There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping! View the attached image. You may be inspired to recreate the piece - but that isn't necessary...get your inspiration from the colors, layout, or 'theme'. Don't worry - no card is 'wrong'!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you.

hee hee, y'all are being so polite I know this is a stretch and I appreciate your willingness to give it a go! Don't wait for a switch-a-roo this year, it won't be coming...this *is* the challenge!
Oops, I thought you were off thinking already. Hi Melinda !
Yeah, right Joni. Soooooo, what is Joni thinking???? Hopefully, no one paid big bucks (I know I'm dreaming) for that drawing. That is soooooo not Picaso to me. Looks like I'm pulling the doodles back out.

This was defintly different. I made my card as a thanks to all you wonderful ladies who are so talented and who also make me smile when I look through the gallery and read some of the comments!! Simple black and white. Here it is:
O.K. I guess I'm a bit of a black and white thinker - Karen, this is a great challenge. I happened to love "Mr. Camel" and was thinking wire, wire, what?!! No black wire, ARRG. So out of the deep depths of accessory deprivation came this card...definitely a stretch for me because I don't like putting pen to paper (I would stamp my signature if I could!) Hope you like it... Thanks for the challenge Karen, it's the first time I have done the Inspiration Challenge, but it was lots of fun. My card looks nothing like the drawing, but it's amazing how one image can inspire everyone in a different way.

I hope that you don't judge by this particular challenge...it was intentionally a little hard. I know many people do find the Inspiration Challenge a bit, well, challenging. But since there really aren't any rules (as long as your card was inspired, however round-about) a lot of people find the IC pretty freeing.
Looks like you found quite a bit inspiration ;) Thanks for playing!!
