I agree about Wicked. I didn't read the book until after I saw the musical, which was very loosely based on the book! The musical is awesome, but not the book.
I just finished reading The Soul of a Chef by Micheal Ruhlman and have started his The Reach of a Chef, when not busy reading for my nutrition class this semester. Both are great reads for foodies and those considering a culinary career.
