So we are all heading for various destinations. But before you start you, you have to do some planning. In your head. Then for real. So as winter begins to turn to spring, where would you like to be right now. YOUR FAVORITE GETAWAY. What does it look like? Where it is? Far away in some exotic clime or as near as your neighborhood beach?
My Challenge Description: You have 45 minutes to make a ROOM CARDone that is 3-D in nature. And fill it with all the things you have just dreamed about for your favorite GetAway.
Start with an 8.5x8.5 square piece of cardstock. Score it in the middle, both ways.
Then cut up on score line to the center.
These 2 squares will overlap to form the base for your room. After thatall the creativity is yours.
Here is my GetAway Room Card: My husband loves flowers and gardens so wherever we go, we have ended up in Botanical Gardensfrom Virginia to Seattle. And we have spent time renewing ourselves, our ideas, our spirit.
Uploading Instructions:
You have 45 minutes to complete this challenge.
If you are using additional keywords, you must separate them with a comma.
Copying and pasting the keyword is recommended to avoid typos
It is recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.
that's why I love SCS. You are all so creative. I love cards that do more than just sit there looking at me. I'm so glad someone (you) are giving it a try.
so, can we do more than one of each VSN challenge (and time ourselves to not go over 45min?) or can you just post one for each challenge? I would have posted this question in the general thread, but it didn't seem like anyone had been in there since yesterday...

Hello....You are my vixen! You were the best! Will you always be my vixen? Haha. I have a small package going out to you on Monday. Missed the post today. But watch for it.

I think it's only 1 entry per challenge if I remember from prior VSN's.

You do not have to do that. I had so much fun being your vixen. Would have had more teasers coming your way but life got in my way.
I'll have to think about this one later! I went to grab a couple of little sailboat stamps and would'n ya' know -- one is missing.
Is this a sign -- -- that I need to clean up my stamp room?
Diva Dawn is looking up that answer about the number of cards within 45 mintues
whoops, I din't say it very clearly...I meant can you do one 45minute challenge (ie: one room card) and then another 45min for another? Since things do not need to be posted until Sunday 3pm...

kristine...it is fun. Once you don't have a time limit, you suddenly begin to see so many possibilities in your stamps. They become something other than you first intend. It's good for the brain juices to get creative.

OK, another question (I'm feeling very dense this morning...I'll blame it on the fact that it is 1:30 and I haven't had lunch yet, lol). Does this need to be the inside of a room, or where we want to vacation (even if that is outside)?
I was planning to put the sailboats outside the "windows" not in the room. Instead I'm just sitting here waiting for all of you to post your creations so I can leave comments.
Oooh, even better....you could be inside a cruise ship!
That's my other problem. What to put inside of a room. I have no stamps for that. If I get back to this, I'll have to cut out little bits like my 5 year old granddaughter does and name them - Chair - Table - et cetera.
That is a great, fun card. I love the idea of a vacation with your daughter/shopping for fabulous clothes, and having your own fashion show while the cat naps. Great job, vicky Gould.
