A New Little Someone Card Inst and Temp. by Linda D
Hello everybody, and thanks for the great comments about this little card. I'm not good at writing directions, I just do it, so if you get lost, just e-mail me, and I will try to help.
1. Take an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of US White cardstock.
2. Longest side is 5 1/2", make a dot with pencil.
3. Shortest side is 3", make a dot with pencil.
4. Now, place cardstock in the paper cutter, lining the dots up with the grove for cutting.
5. First fold is 4 1/4" for the longest edge. NOTE make sure you line up the stright edge at the bottom to keep the fold stright.
6. Second fold is 3 3/4" from the 1ST FOLD, not the edge.
When you get the hang of this type of fold, you can just eye the edges so the color paper showes the same spacing on the 3 stright sides, and you can tell the little center, fold on top is the same distance from the 2 longer edges on each side. Tip, this card also looks good wheeled along the top on both side, you can see a Christmas card I made in my gallery. I hope have fun with this little card, I have posted a template for you, I hope you can see it. I can't wait to see some of your cards made this way. As always, if you have any questions, just e-mail me. Thanks for all of your nice comments about this card. Linda D
LindaD - thanks so much for the instructions!!! I think I might have to CASE the bunny card. I just got that set the other day, and it is too cute Great card!!!
that I made for my grandsons 3rd Birthday Party Invitation last month. Sorry, I can't remember where I got the idea from as I have alot of favorite websites that I love to gather ideas from.
Thanks for posting the directions on how to make this card. That is so nice of you to share with everyone.
I just love how you used the A new little someone stamp set with this card.

Thanks for posting the instructions. You gave me a great idea with the mention of the wheeled christmas card you did. I'm doing a wheel stamp camp in May and I'm going to do this for one of the projects. I posted mine in my gallery.
Hi Linda, I made your card for a workshop and it was quite a success. It's was a little time consuming, but well worth the effort! We also made a quick gift bag to go with it. Wheeled the Wash Day on cardstock and cut to fit front of bag.
Anyway, that was back in May, and now one lady is using the card you designed for the new borns gift basket at church. See what a wonderful thing you started! I copied your template and instructions for her just now.
Just wanted to THANK YOU for that card. It's a real keeper for anyone receiving it!!
I love your card. i love the bunny peeking out and i love the ribbon edge. how did you make the ribbon edge? i would like to use a ginghan edge when I make my own trifold card. thank you. the cards for the challenge were awesome. i think i am ready to try one.
Do you have a templete for this? I really love the card! thanks. I cannot seem to open the PDF file and I did download the current edition of Actobat. Can someone please help me! thanks
FYI- You can make 2 cards from piece of cardstock!!!! What an awesome way to WOW my customers Now to choose what stamp set to use, hmm, that will be the hard part, but UNFROGGETABLE or SIMPLY SAID will be high on my list!
Oh how cool is this for you to have given us all the way to do this. It's so simple & yet I couldn't figure out how to do it everytime & have it come out the same without making a template for it. This is just to fantastic. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!
