THe inspiration for this sketch came from a darling card that stampermom did. I have seen similar sketches before but I LOVED how she took the basic layout and tweaked the squares a little bit to make it fun and lively!
I wanted this week's layout to be a litte more "traditional" as next week's sketch is really going to be interesting  I know I have never done anything like it before and I am sure some of you haven't either. So be on the lookout for next week's sketch because it will be a CHALLENGE
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Ohhh I am going to use this one for the scrap swap. I have been sitting in my scrap pile all afternoon trying to come up with something, but I like this sketch! I will have to make my own version.
Even tho I haven't tried any of the sketches or posted to them I still like to look at them and it does help with ideas for when I get stuck so I want to thank you for doing these!
One more thing if you scroll slowly where the sketch is it almost looks like the little squares are moving in and out a little.
ohhhh, I love it! It's dh's birthday so I have to be a good wifey and spend time with him.... tomorrow, you WILL see at least a couple with this design
Yikes! This one is harder than I thought. I'm now afraid to even think about next week. Maybe it's just not my style. Here is one of my attempts. The other even my 12 year old daughter winced at. I think I should try again another day.
Dont' be worried Julia :( I don't neccesarily think next week's will be hard, it will just be a little different than what we are used to I think. Next week's sketch is actually pretty basic. THere are definilty some sketches that I choose that are not "me" that I have a REALLY hard time with. The week 12 sketch kicked my butt. I never did make anything even remotely presentable with that sketch. I really like the sketch - but I couldn't do a darn thing with it
Do I have to use the exact measurements of the sketch, or do I just need to have the elements in the roughly the same place (in this case the squares)? Sorry to be so dense!
Had to make a quick card in response to this week's challenges before I leave for a week on business (stamping withdrawal?)- not my favorite card - oh well - couldn't work out how to also 'thump' !!
Location: The loop... I'm out of the loop... has anyone seen the loop?

I think I shall take this weeks sketch challange and try it for the first time. My mom (grammasandycandy) and sister (CrabbyAbby) have been trying to get me to do the challange for awhile now. So here goes. I am jumping in with both feet  .

I am going to make a couple of cards today for the challenge, but I am not going to look at any of the samples until I get through w/mine. I do not want to feel like I am getting ideas from someone else. This will be a good chance to get rid of some scraps as well.
After I post a few of mine, I will go through all the examples and post my comments.
Thanks again Andrea for making us stamp out of the box...I think this week's challenge will be an easier one than the last couple that we have had...

Here's my 6x6 scrapbook submission. I have to say this is the only stamping I have done in the last 2 weeks so I'm really glad you do these. But I'm getting 9 new sets in the mail today and 10 new stamp pads, so I should soon be stimulated to do more creating!
Ok, guys this is my first attempt at this week's challenge. I have not looked at anybody else's so if they look similar to yours, I was unaware of your card.
Here are two more takes on this challenge. One I just posted so it may take a little while. This sketch is definitely very different from anything I've done.
