Today's challenge is to find Ways to Use Flocking. Once very popular, this item has kind of faded out of sight, but there seems to be a revival of warm fuzzy textures in clothing and in scrapbooking so let's pull it out and make it new again. Lately I've seen flocked designer paper and fuzzy rubons in my local scrapbooking store so let's see what you can do to bring it back to stamping! Thanks to Trudee for the title of this challenge.
I know this is a product that not everyone has...sorry if you don't. Next week is sure to be an easy one! If anyone has any substitute ideas, sources for buying flocking or any tips....PLEASE let us know.

Please remember to put WT91 in your keywords section and post a link back to this thread. Happy stamping....and keep flocking around the clock this week so that we have lots of new ideas!!!
Woo hoo! I have flocking! And I have never used the stuff! OK, thank you Julia!
But I have to meet a friend and have errands and I haven't even showered yet, so hopefully, I can get to it tonight!
Have a great day Everyone, and don't get mauled at the Malls! :-D
My tip! When you open your flocking container...make sure you have an extra something for storage because you are NEVER going to get it all back in! LOL
No materials here either, and no store close by. So, no more excuses - on to some baking and gift wrapping. But I will be checking to see what everyone else is creating.
No flocking here either. In fact, I never heard of it. Since Michael's & Hobby Lobby are 50 miles away, and the fact that I was just there a couple days ago, don't think I'll run back up to get any. Will just have to see what everyone else comes up with. Guess I'll wrap presents instead.
Goooooooooooo Jeane. Could do cheers with you, but can't jump that high any more.

SU used to sell flocking. It's a powder that is sort of fuzzy. Applied like you would glitter. Guess I got rid of mine, so unless I can think up a substitute, I'll just look at everyone else's beauties.
I am kicking myself this morning.......I got a box of odds and ends crafting stuff this summer from a friend and it in was yellow flocking with a stamp that had a momma duck and 3 little baby ducks in a row!! I kept most of the stuff in the box and passed on the rest including the yellow flocking and duck stamp!! DOH!!!!!

yay! My MIL gave me some of her old stamping things and there is some yellow, some brown, and a very litle white flocking. I'm not sure what to do yet, but this will be fun!
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I have flocking at my house, but it is over 2000 miles away, so I can't play. My daughter did a Christmas card a couple of years ago and used flocking and dazzling diamonds in a shaker card. It really looked like snow shaking around in there. Was it ever cute! Wendy's card She got tons of comments on it from the recipients, and even gained a customer because of it. Her dh's husband's grandfather thought it was a game and kept trying to get all the flocking on the tree. lol too funny!
No flocking here so I'll be a cheerleader with Jeanne and Janet! RAH, RAH, RAH! Cough, cough, cough..........home sick here. Need to clean and organize but I"ll check back ladies.

Well if i ran up to mom's and borrowed her flocking, I could play! Even have a card in mind but that would mean dragging the kids out and really i have tons to do today. Might have to put the challenge on a back burner.
I started off making this for wt91 and ended up doing it for both wt91 and sc102. I haven't used fun flock in years, thank goodness their are directions on the bottle. It didn't want to stick very well and tried to add more glue stick with a q-tip, don't listen to me, must be someone out their who good with this stuff! I also used my new cuttlebug tag dies so very cute

If you want to get to it later Amber...that's fine! I KNOW how crazy it is right now!!! I, myself, am about ready to lose it!
Oh, I have like 4 containers of flock here, white, red, yellow, and brown, I did some cute things with it before, like for Valentines day I flocked a red heart, looked too cute. I don't think I have anything in my gallery with flock, so will have to see if I can work on this. Now to go put away all my new stamp stuff..OH MY!
