Does Michael's accept printed Joann's coupons?

I went to Joann Fabrics today with my 40% off coupon, all psyched to buy a new Coluzzle template. . only to discover that they don't carry them in the stores anymore (only online)!

The clerk did tell me that she loves the Coluzzle and that Michael's carries the templates. Does anyone know if they will accept a printed coupon from Joann's (got it in an email)? I thought I read somewhere they will only take _flyer_ coupons. . .

I have successfully used e-mail coupons at two of my local Michael's; you might want to call before you head over, though!

They used to, but our local stores told me new policy they do not accept email ones. Look in the Sunday paper for a Michaels coupon

Not all Michael's stores accept JoAnn's coupons. The one here in Maine only accepts ACMoore as a competitor's coupon and doesn't accept any of JoAnn's coupons (not even the one from their flyer).

For 40% off, it's worth asking though.

My Michaels accepts Jo-Anne coupons so try it and if they give you any grief tell them you know other Michaels accept them.

I have gone to AC Moore and used JoAnn's coupons and Michael's coupons. Most stores will also honor their sale prices too. One time MIchael's had sizzix dies on sale for 50% off and A C Moore had them for 40% off and Ac Moore honored Michael's prices. You need to bring in the ad showing the prices..they keep the ad. In fact, some of my local scrapbooking stores accept the competitors coupons. They wiould rather give the discount on one item and then hope you buy other things in their store, than lose the whole sale.
It's always worth a try asking..all they can say say is no ..and maybe think about changing their policy.

There was a 50% off Michael's coupon in last Sunday's paper that was good for tomorrow from 8 AM to 1 PM and a 40% off that was good for the week. You may want to check for them.

Our Michael's store looks at you weird when you present a MICHAEL'S coupon...They would have a heart attack if I tried to pass off a JoAnn's coupon!
