I just got a ton of new pictures developed, so now I have no reason not to scrap ALL THE TIME! lol. In the sketch, the area was airbrushed. How do you do that? I have never heard of it before. Anyway, thanks for the challenge, it got me scrappin and maybe some day I will run out of that silly looking Polka Dot Party paper so I can move on to better paper!
I just realized that today is Saturday and I forgot to check on the new sb challenges yesterday! Man, all these days off for Thanksgiving is really throwing me off! Thanks for the sketch, Darcy!

Gotcha! Have you used acrylic paint on any pages yet? I have seen it around and don't know quite what to do with it. Was that what you meant by paint?

Hi Sheri,
I've used arylic paint on several pages. A little goes a long way and you want to use it on good quality card stock as it does have water in it, so can tend to warp the paper. It works good for distressing and either dulling down or spicing up paper color depending on the color of paint you use.
Thanks so much for the SB challenges. I have found that I have gotten away from doing much SBing, which was what I was into hugely before Stamping. I used embossing Powder Borders instead of Paint and think my layout is a little busy, but it allowed me to do a page on my Grandma, which was quite therapeutic for me with Christmas coming up!!! I am going to try to do at least one SB challenge a week, which will give me a lot of layouts in a years time

Thank you so much for the info! I will have to pick some up at Ben Franklin the next time I am there. I am itching for some new scrapbook supplies! Too bad it is snowing so bad here, I won't be going anywhere for a while!
OK...I did one!! I've had this layout setting on my stamp table for quite a while meaning to finish it up along with MANY other things!! I sure hope to catch up on the past challenges!! Maybe after Christmas I'll have more time? Anyway...here is my rendition of this sketch:
