Last weekend I did a craft fair at a local high school. It was very organized and nicely put together, however, the foot traffic was not all that great. The shoppers that were there weren't buying much. All of the vendors I spoke to were very disappointed. One lady only sold $3 worth of stuff. I felt so bad for her. I will not participate in this fair again.
Here's what I sold:
Altered Composition Books (started at $7, then marked down to $5) sold 6
Mini Composition Book $3 ea, sold 1
Ghirardelli Chocolate Holders $3 ea, sold 8
PMS Survival kits $2 ea, sold 4
Soft Accordian Scrapbooks (from Simply Scrappin Kits) $12 each, sold 4
Clear Glass Ornament w/ acetate $3, sold 1
Message Board Tile w/easel $10, sold 1
Magnetic Bookmarks .75, sold 4
Shoppers Instant High Energy Breakfast $2, sold 1
Things that did not sell AT ALL: cards, altered lunch tins, stamped note cubes w/ matching pens
I cannot believe that I didn't sell a SINGLE card! That is highly unusual for me. I even had a spinning rack card display this year. Last year I sold out of stamped memo cubes with the matching beaded pens. I sold NONE at this craft fair.
My next craft fair is next weekend and I did pretty well last year, so I am hoping that I have the same success. For the upcoming craft fair, I plan on having tile magnets, tile recipe holders, and snowman poop available for sale. (ran out of time for the last show)
