LSC89 - A Chocolate Holiday
Are you ready for VSN? Let's get in shape for the fast and furious fun. This challenge has a VSN time limit of 45 minutes.
Please put LSC89 in the keyword box when you upload!
Stamps: any holiday images
Paper & Ink: shades of brown, any other neutrals, one additional color
Embellishments: choose only one
Tools & Techniques: any
Time Limit: 45 minutes
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Fast card.
I didn't think it was possible for me to make a card in 45 minutes. Well, This one took me 15 minutes. Had I not glued it together alteady I would have gone back and added a Bg on the Choc Chip piece. maybe weathered or something. any way this was just fun. Here is my Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I was about to color the reindeer brown, but then, I thought, try it in cool carribbean! This was a awesome challenge! I've been hankering to do some cards with cool carribbean since I splurged and bought the inkpad. :p This was a very fun card though, thanks for the inspiration, Jen.

Okay I did this card, but I don't think it's going to count since I used 3 embellishments...=( the brads, cord, and ribbon each count as 1 right??? oh well...I'll try to squeeze one in tomorrow...but I might just hit it right now...

Tee hee... I've had my holiday cards done for a week or so, and yeppers...they are brown this year!
I'll get a Photo and share. They are brown, sage green, and yellow this year...so a little more colorful than was intended for the challenge. I'll have to come up w/ another one so I'm not really a cheater!

Finally got a challenge card done this week! Got a little carried away and stamped a few too many leaves for the poinsettia. Think I still had about 10 minutes left to play with... may try and fix it tomorrow. Gotta get some sleep tonight though since I'm not planning on much tomorrow night!!!

my holiday is Thanksgiving. When i was little, after dinner my cousins and i would go out and play in the piles of leaves that weren't finished in our yard and we'd jump and play and rake for hours... so that is why my last falling leaves and rake against the tree is my holiday stamp... perhaps not the traditional stamp, but still a warm holiday one for me...
