IC46 - Wood Panels
Inspiration Challenge 46 - Wood Panels
This picture of beautiful Horchow wood panels was sent to me by Susan (aka Rainy).
OK, so I am linking to my creation a few days later...but I got it done . My Sample.
There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!
REMINDER: Please put IC46 in the keywords box when you upload your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number) . If you have more than one keyword use a comma to separate them. Thanks!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little on your favorite site). Thank you!!
Hey, I'm first (maybe!) Looks like a little bamboo in there -- no bamboo at my house! But I've got an iris! See what I can come up with. Thanks, Karen.
Wowzers, this is gorgeous! I hope I can do it justice later today. Got a soccer game at 10 30 minutes away! Thanks again ladies for a wonderful challenge!

I never did an inspiration challenge before. I like the piece you chose. And, since I have all day to stamp; I am going to go for it. Thanks Karen for taking the time to plan this cool challenge.
This was a very striking combination of colors and textures. I knew that this would be a fun challenge. Thank you Karen, as always, and Susan. Here is my card.. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Wow, so much to work from on this sample piece. Thanks Karen and Susan for the great inspiration this morning. I have to go buy a frame and will give this to my sister for her birthday in November. Here is my Amateur Art piece :
I'm going to get to this as soon as I cook, nap, etc. It's a beautiful inspiration piece--maybe I'll dream about it when I take my nap and come up with a great approach to it! ;0)
Isn't Crate paper one of the new lines of patterned papers that are so fab? I thought it's what Trudee used on a few pieces for last months DD gallery but no. Here's a link to their web site: http://www.cratepaper.com/page/page/3692363.htm
I really like this inspiration piece and hope to get a chance to play; I have to finish 20 cards for a swap for tomorrow!

I've been away on a business trip all week and this is my first stamped item in a week, oh the horror! This was just the challenge I needed to get me back in the stamping room again. So much fun.
This is a gorgeous inspiration piece!
After spending an hour trying to find my iris stamp without success, I settled for the Heartfelt Thanks flower. I'm sure I'll find it when I'm not looking for it
When I first saw these wood panels I thought they would be an easy inspiration piece. I was wrong! I have been working (ok.. playing) on this card for hours! Just couldn't seem to get something I liked. But ended up with this: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Mine is done and it took some thinking and once again advice from my husband...Karen you are forcing us to bond! I asked his opinion on the squares placement. He thought I would be over doing it with the brads so don't tell him I used them and he'll never know!
This is my first time playing in the Inspiration Challenge! Go me! And this one was a challenge. I had to modify my original brainstorm quite a bit to get it to work (or at least work to my satisfaction!)
Okay, I am home and ready to play....going to the basement and hopefully will post within 45 minutes, already got and idea floating in my pea sized brain!
ROX.....was 51 minutes from the time I went to the basement, made the card, scanned it, uploaded it and posted on this thread.....good practice for NOVVSN!

Not sure why, but I looked at this card and thought of Pearl Ex. I did think of Gold Pearl Ex but it got lost somewhere on my cluttered desk.......so silver it was.
I was inspired by the deep colors and the gold on red in the panel. I had some gold squares like on the panel, but ended up removing them because there was just too much going on. Thanks for the inspiration, those panels are gorgeous!
