This beautiful trivet was emailed to me from Charlene (aka LilLuvsStampin) - Thanks!
There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!
REMINDER: Please put IC42 in the keywords box when you upload your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number) . If you have more than one keyword use a comma to separate them. Thanks!

Karen, this is just gorgeous! Hope I can do it justice after coffee!

Thanks for the challenge Karen! I managed to eek one out while I'm supposedly cleaning my studio.. getting ready for a show today. I can't resist a challenge though
As soon as I saw the inspiration, I knew I had to use my circle punch! Here's my card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Thanks, Karen, for all the times you've made us really think.
Wow! :p I'm amazed at all the productivity this morning. I'm just waking up, but needed to take a peep at the inspirational piece so I could think on it today. I hope to play later. :p

Believe it or not, Karen, this will be a toughie for me even though I submitted the piece for the challenge. I just thought it was so pretty, and I can't believe all the beautiful productivity already! I hope to play later today.
Here is my Night of Navy card, The picture looks like some other blue. I was inspired by the colors and also the circle with the little rectangle tag. so that is why I used the window punch. So now I am off to go to my monthly stamp workshop.

I immediately thought of Toile Blossoms when I saw this. So here's my card called, Chinese Trivet.

Reason: I messed up the link
This is my first time trying the IC, but I really like the Asian style cards for my DD and SIL (karate brown and black belts), so I couldn't pass it up! Thanks for the challenge, Karen, and I'll probably try more in the future. Here's mine.

I have to say that I am so impressed with all of the work I saw here, and this is such a great challenge!:p
I ended up doing a copy of the trivet and did a circle card. I was showing my DH and he asked if the challenge is to copy and then he stopped listening when I tried to explain what exactly the challenge entails. At the end, he said, "You were inspired to copy the image."
Thanks for the challenge. It was just that. My card took on about 6 different looks before it made it to this. I don't know what possessed me to try stitching between all the elements like on the trivet, but it was a BAD idea. So bad that it was voted off the island. After many rounds of elimination, the last one standing is....
