This week our inspiration is from a magazine article about countertops. This opener picture has overlaping laminate samples that makes me think colorblocking!
Get your inspiration from the colors (autumn), the layout (colorblocking or geometrics), the theme (laminate chips), or if it just makes you think of a card you need to do (hey, my neighbor just did a kitchen remodel, I should make her a card) . Make anything -- a card, scrapbook page, or other project.
Don't forget to mark you upload with IC03 and tell us how you were inspired.

Kathy, there should be an attachment to my above post, that is the starting inspiration piece. If you click on it, it will open up a larger version so you can see details. If you don't see the attachment let me know.
Okay I did it, well I did two and the first idea was so hideous I couldn't bring myself to upload it and tore it apart, saved the base for another day! Hopefully I’m not the only stamper who’s done that!
I went with the blocks and a touch of color from the inspiration photo and... Here's my creation

Rox, thanks for playing. I love your piece -- very creative! I would have loved to seen your first take (and no, you are not the only one who starts over...my creations never seem to look like what I have in my head, oh well!).
I saw ruby red, mustard & chocolate chip, but when I went to put the card together, the chocolate looked too preppy, so I switched to black. I like it a lot better. Here's my card.
