We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
REMINDER - when you post your creations please put "SC08" in the keyword line to make it a little easier to find at a later date.
Hope you have fun with this week's sketch. This was inspired by a really cute, happy card that Noreen_Ann did.
The sketch challenges are open to EVERYONE I post them weekly, on Wednesdays. Link to the gallery they are in, which shows all of them to date posted below.
There is also always a thread here on this forum for each week's sketch.
You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of hte cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different.
If you can post what you create that is great! Usually everyone links their creation back to the Sketch challenge thread so people can look at it. If you can't post your creation, please play along anyway! It's fun to do, and gets those creative juices flowing. It has definitly helped me get out of a rut!
Can't wait to see all of the fun stuff you creative ladies post :-D
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.

I'm so excited! After 8 weeks I finally got my idea down onto paper and in the gallery! I've loved the challenges and am glad I finally got off my butt to participate!
Here she is! (Might still be waiting to be approved)
I'M DONE --- Yay! I worked so hard on this right away! This is my first one ever with Paint Prints and I can tell I am going to LOVE this set. So fun! I didn't even clean up before posting -- ink is out, stamps are everywhere -- ahhh, what a wonderful sight!

I can't believe how fast some of you work! Great, waiting to see them after they are out of 'pending' status!
Nice explanation to the whole idea AndreaSophie, thank you so much for doing this for us all! Like I said in last weeks post, this is going to be like our very own Joy of Cardmaking, with just skads of excellent variations!
Happy Stampin' everyone,
Laurie
Unfortunately dd only took an hour nap and is awake..... gotta get that kid back to sleep so I can stamp again
I hate it when the kids wake up in the middle of a creative stamping time!! As soon as I get them down for bed I will have to join in on this challenge!
Kay, I don't know about you all, but I am dying to see everyone's work! APPROVE US NOW! APPROVE US NOW!
I'm starting a protest -- against slow approval.

I love these sketch challenges! I have one customer that likes ideas that are very clear and easy to copy. She can't get enough of the sketches! It has also helped me make some quick set samples! Maybe I'll get up the courage to post some!?!
Love it!

Here's my first attempt at the challenges...and my first time using my Garden Collage set...I just got it last week. Thanks for getting me going...I think I kinda got carried away though!
Here's my first submission for this challenge. (I didn't get a chance to do the last 2  ). It didn't take me too long to come up with the idea, but choosing the colors took some time. Then I had to wait till I got back home to my stamps. Why do the kids have to have so many activities??? Here's the link. (still pending as I type.)
I'm also playing with another idea that I've been thinking about for some time, but think I have something worked out to fit this challenge. Now, to put it on paper.
