Okay, I want in this one too. Where is Lauren??? She needs to branch out from paper flowers. She makes such beautiful paper ones-can you imagine what she would do with fabric????

Oooo yeah, we need to get Lauren over here. Her paper flowers really are incredible! Let's bug her until she can't handle it and has to join for some peace and quite!!
I will happily put you down for a spot. So you sew too?? I love sewing! I go thru spells of paper crafting being #1 and sewing #2 and then it'll flip flop for a while and be reversed! I always crochet at night sitting in bed watching TV. I am almost finished with an afferkan (afghan) for my daughter for Christmas. That'll be one gift down! Yeppie!

I'm working on a baby afghan right now for my 'sister' from Ecuador--she came to the US as an exchange student her senior year in high school and lived with my parents. Then she ended up staying and going to college at the University of Alabama in B'ham, met her husband here-who happens to be from Columbia-and they are now expecting their first child-a little girl-in February. So she's been a part of my life for over 10 years now. I consider her my sister. Her baby shower is Dec. 10th, so I have to get that baby afghan finished!!!.
Then DD's good friend is pregnant and due in April so I'll have to crochet a blanket for that little one too. I love to crochet afghans and scarves. Not that we have much need for scarves in GA!!! LOL!!!
And yes I sew--just need to dig out my machine. I like doing hand sewing too. Who knows what I'll come up with!!!!
Hi Sam, put me down for 2 spots. I hadn't seen these flowers until I saw your post...I love, love, love them.
I am also putting my order in for a salmon colored scarf.
Good Morning Shelia!! I would be more than happy to sign you up for a spot!! I am excited about this swap! There are just so many great stamps out there to make some really beautiful flowers!!

Sounds fun! Babies are sooo sweet! I finished my babies blanket last night! Yeppie - gonna take and hide it today for Christmas!
So do you want a pink salmon or an orangey salmon? Just so I'll know when i get caught up with everything else!!! LOL!!
Oh my, I was kidding i mean I would love one if you're serious, but you don't have to. I just really love scarves and handmade ones are so special. If you are serious I will pay you for it. Either color would be fine with me. If you find you are too busy with all the other super things you are making then please don't stress about making it. I wouldn't want to put undo stress on anyone. And please don't feel you have to. Hugs to you, Sheila

No stress, but it will have to wait until about mid December for me to start. I've got a pattern I've been wanting to try so yours can be the guinia pig!!!

Good Morning Friends! I am hopeful that today will be a day for me to get downstairs to craft! I keep trying to get there, but there's always something in the way.
Good morning my friends! I get to go to my sisters house today. She is an avid quilter and has decided she needs to think out her fabrics.... I am the lucky gal she wants to share this joyous event with!! LOL
Love your pictures Peggie Sue - very inspiring!! Please sign me up for two spots - perhaps more later, but I want to see what I can do with these first!! I just got a hydrangea stamp that is so gorgeous - must put it to good use!!

Ooo, hydrangea's are one of my fav flowers - so pretty! I would be more than happy to count you in for 2 spots and 1 goody for the second spot! Super happy to be swapping with you again!
Marilyn - how's the weather in paradise?? It's finally staying in the cooler temps here and I luuuuvvv that! It's getting cool enough to start up the fireplace! Such fun!
Okay, gotta go downstairs to sew up some Christmas goodies today. Can't even begin to believe the end of the year is already here! Christmas is soooo close!
I figured it's been a few days since I posted some cuties I found while searching. Now I know that the last one isn't stamped, stuffed and stitched... it's is just so cute I thought I'd post it too!
They are cute Peggie Sue!! The weatherr here has finally turned the corner to winter weather - still beach weather during the day, but a sweater or jacket is needed in the evenings. We will hopefully get some much needed rain today!!
So glad that you get to do some Christmas crafting today!! I am organizing my main flooor craft room - ie.....the living room - so we can decorate for Christmas. And that means that my craft room is going to get bombarded with stuff - should provide for lots of entertainment today!!
Oh Christmas decorating? Not even there yet! LOL Have fun and put on some old holiday music!
The weather is cold ans rainy. I'm functioning super slow today! (so what's new, ha ha!!) I have figured out some holiday gifts. Gonna make marshmallow shooters for nephew and son! I made my eldest sister's gift yesterday. I'll link pics maybe tomorrow.
I am almost finished with my dad's (and mine) gift. I am making heat-able stress bags. For my dad it's to keep him warm. He's turned into an old lady, "I'm just sooo cold - ca somebody get me a sweater?" LOL It'll have a removable outer cover and inside I'll make a muslin bag filled with 2 lbs of rice.
Gotta figure out what to make for the middle sis. She's a quilter. I thought about a pin cushion/scrap catcher that would "hang" over the arm of a sofa or chair.
We are making almost all of our holiday gifts this year (we usually do). DD and I will have a kitchen day and make cookie and cake pops, fudge and cookies for our friends and teachers. If we have time, we'll hand craft easy felt tree ornaments to hang on the gifts.
Love Chatty Peggie Sue and love your plans for presents!! Wish my family would jump on that train for sure!! Hae fun creating my friend!! Have already found one of the flower stamps that I'm using here and need to decide for sure on the second - this is so much fun!!

Thanks I am happy we all decided to make things. It's still fun matching the gift to the person.
Glad you are having fun with the swaps! I am gonna do some more fun things in the morning too!
