Hi Sherri -- I love the idea, just have to see what I have to do it with!
So these are not framed, correct? We just create the artwork that could be framed?
Where would you get frames those sizes? Or are they to be put in scrapbooks? I saw a great book at a store called "Scrapbooking my Faith" and thought it would work with this too...
I'll take one spot for now. Not sure of the word or size yet, will let you know.
And feel free to ad it in any of my swaps.
Susan,
Yes this is just the artwork! As you can tell, I did change the size a little bit so it would be easier to find a frame. I also included links as to where you could purchase a frame that would fit the artwork.
Thanks for giving me the feedback about the frames. My first thought was just to display the artwork on an easel!
I'll take a spot...the 4x10 size...and not sure what my word will be yet. Gee, just when I said I wasn't going to sign up for any more swaps and then I find this one! LOL!!! I just can't resist.
Susan - I linked the word 'link' verses the word 'Here' so I changed the font color so it is more noticeable! Can you tell this is the first swap I have hostessed?
Thanks for your patience, understanding and for signing up!!!
I absolutely LOVE this idea! I have a thing for words/quotes anything like that so this is perfect for me. Let me think about what work I'll be doing and then get back to you. I definitely want at least one spot for now!
I hope we gets lots more to join! I have too many words I like!!!!!
I have to sit down and play with the scripture verses first to see which I like most and then pick the word from there... Blessings, Love, Prayer, Hope, Faith... too many too choose from!

I'm subbing for now; just not sure I can work in another swap as I've overloaded myself...again! But I love the idea. I should know more after the holidays on my timing.
Susan, I didn't know there was a New Testament cricut cartridge...I am going to have to search for it; or, do you have a link you could PM me, please??!
And there is another one I want to get, Noah's Ark, so cute, but haven't gotten it yet. I got the New Testament one on ebay. Awesome words and crosses on it too.
I am hoping they come out with an Old Testament one next!!!

Okay, I keep coming back to this thread; Susan did recruit me in a PM to join and that's how I found this thread! I must ask for the word HOPE (as a cancer survivor that word has been with me for several years) !

Hi Sherri, I'd love to join in your swap. This sounds like so much fun. I'm thinking of using either the word 'Inspire' or 'Create'.
I'll think on it and let you know (or maybe I'll do both). Just a couple of questions:
1) Can we 'dibs' any of the other words for this swap? and
2) Are we to make the finished project either 'hanging' or a 'standing' item? (like a folded card)
Thanks, Denise

Hello Denise and Peggie! I have both of you added.
To answer your questions Denise:
Yes, you can 'dib' for a word that you want - just let me know.
The project is to be 'flat' in the aspect that it can be framed. I put links in the original message on places where you can order 4 X 10 frames. If someone wants to make it hang or stand, then they can do sothemselves.

Hi Denise, I think I followed you over here!! hee hee
Stalking me again I see Peggie hehehe! So glad you found this, it sounds like so much fun, and something different (my walls need some art).
Sherri, Just to clarify, I will take a second spot. My first word will be 'IMAGINE' with a Graphic 45 theme and based on the 'Imagine A Woman' poem by Patricia Lynn Reilly.
My second word will be 'Inspire'. No theme yet but probably Vintage in style. Both of my words will be more spiritual in aspect than specifically religious, meaning probably no Bible verses. Just let me know if that is okay and fits within the theme of the swap. Both will be 4X10" in size also.
If possible I'd like to call 'DIBS' so far on the following:
'LOVE' by Peggie (artisticsole)
'GRACE' by Kari (klb1042),
'FRIENDS' by slhawes and
'HOPE' by VickiY. Thank You, D.

Ok, I think my second word is going to be strengh.
And now for dibs.....can I put in dibs for the following:
Faith, Hope, Friends, and Grace? We just had our reveal luncheon on Saturday for our Angel of Grace (secret sister) program....and this year - 2012 - I decided to do 4 ladies! They are all going through things in their lives where they need some encouragement and these will be wonderful to give them as gifts!
