Quantity: 3+1 (the +1 is for the hostess, you will not get one of your own back)

Vendor products: NVR just make something you'd be happy to receive.

Include your Real Name & SCS Name when you package your silverware so we know who to credit when bragging about you're awesome artwork.

Deadlines:
Sign-up no later than: May 15th
Ship by date:June 2nd (please allow 10+ business days for shipping to Canada for those of you that don't often ship internationally sending earlier is ALWAYS better, just sayin')

Packaging
Place swap items in a ziploc style bag for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on a piece of paper or business card and include in the baggie for identification purposes. Bubble envelope is probably best or small boxes.

Swap Return:
Place baggie of silverware inside an envelope or box with a self-addressed label (If you were in my lable swap then you'll have the perfect label already) for return mail purposes. The amount of postage sent should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess. To insure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, include additional postage which will be returned if not used.

**Please feel free to send american stamps as I can use them in my own swap returns and I will purchase canadian stamps of equal value to use to return your package to you. I also accept american cash at par**

Ok, I'm in. I have to take a trip to the local Thrift Store first, then I'll tell you which group. Maybe if I get really lucky I can score a spot in each group :)!

"friends" are always good for pushing us over the edge to do something

Hat friends are for bahahha plus it's only fair because I've pushed, pulled, bit, kicked and scratched to get Peggie to hostess some swaps lmao. So I don't blame her for her arm twisting ;p

artisticsole 04-22-2013 01:45 PM

Yes, I take full unadulterated credit for pushing you to hostess and to share your ideas!! I can't be hostessing all these great ideas you come up with!! hee hee!!

BTW put a sign-up and due date on that title girly!!

I'll be pimping out your swap on the threads...this is too good to pass up!!

I went to the thrift store today looking for knives, forks, and spoons, I also thought that I'd look for some silky clothing to just use for the fabric. So tonight I'm hoping to get some crafting time in, I got a new laptop for an early b'day gift so I have to learn windows 8 and I've been messing around for 2 days, I think it's time to get off the laptop and focus on something else for awhile

artisticsole 04-27-2013 08:11 AM

hmmmm, well I did get a little crafty but not on the swaps that I'm signed up for---I altered an Altoid tin, been wanting some of those....we went out for breakfast and the spoons that we had ...well lets just say they would have been great for this swap, they were more like paddles than spoons, I wish I could find ones like that at a thrift store I'd buy a dozen--;)

pamper1 04-27-2013 11:19 AM

I got spoons at the thrift store.

Yeah, that stuff's not cheap, I had a pr of earrings once (fork or spoon handle don't know which) loved them but they were to heavy for my ears

pamper1 04-27-2013 05:23 PM

They are very expensive. But some people can really make pretty things out of them.

I've seen those on pinterest, they're pretty cool! I have also seen tutorials on how to make them on Pinterst too! Last year, there was a kiosk at the mall selling knife bracelets for $20 each. I bought one for my cousin, but not myself.

$20 is reasonable...

nsmac1 05-02-2013 05:14 PM

Peggie already told me her idea for her spoons, can't wait to see them. Anyone else have ideas for theirs yet??

monicas silcott 05-02-2013 05:40 PM

For the forks I'm altering- I'm going to make easels out of them. My favorite stamping store has them all around to display sample cards -Super cute!! When I get my camera fixed I'll take a picture and post.

I think I'm just going to use paper and jewels to decorate the knives. I've seen them turned into hooks, very pretty.

pamper1 05-03-2013 11:03 AM

still thing about my spoons
