Hi Susan, I'm doing alright. I've got time to myself this week. I'm working- things have been difficult at church. A few of our members have passed on, we had a member miscarry during her 7th month of pregnancy and I have a friend whose in her final stage of cancer. I got up early today and prayed, I'm thankful for my health and family and I feel fortunate to have employment.
Here are my 6x6 spots and my two kids cards so far!
Hard to tell from the pics, but the girls card is a flip card, I bought the die for it at Hobby Lobby and love it. So fun.
The one with the sun on it is done with Cricut cuts so is layers and thicker than it looks in the pic. And the words inside are to "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam."
I tried out my new dragonfly die for the second 6x6... LOVE the way it turns out!
We are good. Summer is going well, Dh still has several Dr appointments but tests so far have had good results. Got a couple coming up that are a little concerning but I am trying to stay faithful and positive. We "took the summer off" and promised ourselves that we would do things that made us happy whenever we wanted to not just do the things that we had to do (if that makes sense..lol) Anyway all is good here..sounds like your summer is going well too.
Praise God! I've got you all in prayers still. We have to give it to Him as He is the one in control and who has the master plan!
We need to all live that way, don't we? We are trying to do more of that ourselves too, though it becomes a juggling act often with DH's assistant pastor position and commitments.
Susan your projects look lovely! I love that sun coming over the hills...is that a die cut or did you hand do that? Your 6x6 devos are beautiful! And that girl singing her heart out to the Lord is adorable!
Ladies I want to thank you for posting the pictures.
It's been a busy two days for me. Two funerals at church, two nights driving up to scout camp (120 mi round trip) and teaching in the morning. Great is Thy Faithfulness
Tonight I'm not doing much. Housework and watching a movie- Lord of the Rings.

I finished up my items this morning..now to find a box sturdy enough for my challenge piece and large enough for my 6x6's....oh yeah and on to housework..phooey
Annette, I love your verse. That was a favorite verse of a good friend of mine..I always think of her when I hear it.
Thanks for sharing. Things in my life have been a little challenging the last 3 or 4 years and I need to remember that Satan attacks and if I have on my armor it is much harder for him to get at me. I also need to change my thinking from negative to positive so it reminds me to be mindful of my thoughts - they should be Christ-like and uplifting not that of feeling like a down-trodden Woman of God. Blessings and Prayers for everyone out there struggling with life right now.
