Cannot believe that mine got here so quickly! And what treasures they are...
- a gorgeous take out hot drink holder - love the fabric!
- snack bags -so perfect and fabric that makes me smile!
- a stunning fabric lunch bag - love the design and softness of the fabric!
Oh boy, these September winds brought a goodie box to my doorstep today! Thank you so much for the soft, warm scarf -- freshly knitted, as my daughter just said; the wonderful hand-made dish cloth enrobing two little utensils; and a lovely framed display highlighting a new pair of earrings! All of these treasures will find a home here, and I hope those who receive the things I made will enjoy them as much. Thank you Susan for hosting, and I will find another swap soon to participate in!
My boxes arrived yesterday. I love every thing. The cute zippered bag and the messanger bag are great for samples for my sewing class. They pick their own projects. I love the lunch bags-so clever. I got some really fun crochet projects to inspire me also.. I'm at work and can't remember everything but I really want to thank everyone for the fun projects.

Lucky me! I got Pam's fabric basket (how clever!), Heather's corn bag (good idea - I never remember to ease into ski season!), one of Margie's gorgeous scarves (oh - the colors are so-o-o pretty!), shereel's curling iron cover (already in my overnight bag!), Christina's amazing earring frame - the tiger stone earrings are STUNNING - I love them!, and the crocheted toiletry bag with goodies - I'm a traveler, how perfect for me! Everything is WONDERFUL and perfect for me, and will get lots of "just love this " use.The tags are all a work of art too. Thank you EVERYONE!
Susan, the crocheted clutch is gorgeous, I love it and your crochet work is beautiful! Perfect color for me, I love that deep sherbet color! I also need to thank you for the tea and images from the Tea Recipe swap - I was on the road when that package came in and rudely forgot to thank you! Thank you so much for hostessing both of these amazing swaps !! You're the best
We just got home last night from vacation and there was a box filled with an assortment of wonderful gifts. So many neat ideas... I am ready to start sewing to make Christmas gifts. Everyone is so talented and gifted. Thank you Susan for hosting this swap.
See? Didn't I tell you all these were FABULOUS items????!!!!!
You were absolutely right!!!!
I was totally jumping up and down when I opened my package!! I loved, loved, loved everything and can't even pick a "favorite"!
Jen - the denim purses are just too stinking cute!!
AMTutton - the cowl colors are gorgeous! This will be perfect to help dress a pair of jeans up on jean-fridays at work!!
Lulubean - I absolutely ADORE the scissors pouch! Had a hard time getting it back from my Mom when I showed everything to her. Where did you find those adorable scissors?! Mom and I are arguing about whether they are "old" or not... LOL
Shereel - trying to decide if I should be selfish and keep the flat-iron c0ver or gift to my hair-stylist for Christmas. she is a very classy and "with-it" gal, so I know she would go ga-ga over this....hmm...
Monicas Silcott - the tissue cover is absolutely adorable...the colors are totally me!
Bflostamp - OMG. I can't tell you how utterly excited I was to receive your fingerless mitts! I've had intentions for YEARS to knit a pair for myself and have never gotten around to it. I love hand-knit items so much more than store-bought, so I can't wait for the first cool day to make use of these! Would you consider sharing your pattern?
And, of course, everyone's tags were so perfect for each item! Very pretty, classy, beautiful, etc, etc!!
Susan...another fantastic swap, not that I had a single doubt! I racked my brain for a simple hostess gift to send you and couldn't find anything that really jumped out at me. Promise I'll send you a little something, something in our next swap....because I want to!

Kim -- Those are your coasters she is talking about!
The Tissue box organizer is from Monicas Silcott.
The lunch sack was by Cupojafa.
Coaster recipe:
6 - 5" squares
iron 4 squares in half to make triangles
remaining two wrong sides together
layer triangles so they overlap, make sure to tuck last one underneath first one.
sew around edge (1/4" seam), trim corners and turn inside out, press.

Make sense???
makes perfect sense and I'm trying to make some tonight - hubby is off to a cruise night with the car so I have 4 glorious free hours!
Sorry, forgot to post that I recieved my fantaboulous items in the mail last week. I recieved the awesome demin shorts bag, a knitted dishcloth &Scrubbie, and a tea pot cover...
My box of goodies arrived today. I took a quick peek cause I'm at work. There is a fabulous collection of handmade items. I received a dishcloth, card holder portfolio, hand sanitizer holder, cool owl bag with other goodies inside (that's my niece's for sure), blue cowl, sewing kit (I was so hoping to get one of these), a fall color twisty scarf (Margie - would you share the pattern?), fabric bowl, and wine bags......love them all.
Susan, thanks for hosting this swap. And thanks for the ribbon.....
The pattern is very simple. I used 4 knit stitches for each row. It's the yarn that makes it curly. I purchased mine from Mary maxim. It is called frill yarn. You can also find YouTube videos on this yarn. They are super simple once you play with the yarn a little

Toni, I am so glad you liked the scissor pouch and scissors. I had to chuckle, the scissors are from JoAnn fabrics in the usual scissors isle, so they are not old but still adorable. Enjoy!
