Feeling much better today. Got lots of sleep (once I finally got to sleep) last night. Early to bed tonight!

I upgraded my internet speed and today I received my new modem. I went from 1.5 to 7.0 (whatever the measurement is)! Actually, I'm not noticing much difference yet. Maybe it will show up when I start to play some YouTube videos. The really cool part is that I now have wireless internet! Now all I need to do is replace the battery in my laptop so I can surf the web from the comfort of favorite living room chair or the bed.

Good night everyone!

Yeah, I upgraded my internet speed and now I can't tell much difference yet.
I watched a YouTube video last night and it still got "stuck" a couple of times. Thought a faster speed would take care of that.

If you have a die cut, stamp or paper piece pattern for a Storage device: example curio cabinet, wardrobe closet, chest, corner hutch, dresser, suit case, trunk, quilt rack, etc You are in luck you could use that in next swap!!!!! How beautiful that would be I've had couple email quesses sent to me you guys are so close

Linda

6th clue was in your posting at #80.

Of course, it doesn't really matter how many clues, I still can't figure out how your mind works.

Wow, can't believe it's been over a week since I've checked in.
I'm working on my cards right now. Will send these and the Easter cards at the same time.

Yes, you can send them all back at the same time. I've been making cards to send to my troops in Afghanistan and some to put in my stash for the RMHC monthly swap.

yea, in stamps there are always the cutest animals. I have flowers and several baby animal stamps would like to add to my collection tree stamps but hard to find good old fashion trees I've been looking a while. Michael's had a old oak but by time I got around to buying they were out my neighbor has been learning to stamp these last 2-3 weeks she likes it a lot. a little shaky on the coloring sometimes I told her I'd show her a blender pencil (thinking it will help) so I got a afternoon trip to Joanne's planned!!!!! haven't been there in long while so I'm hoping snow holds off.

you have a lot of stamps? whats best way to store those on wood blocks? a lady in neighborhood brought me a whole box full most of mine are see through. she brought very nice stamps some very large like 1/2 page size. (scenerys)

for christmas i got a dvd called 123 stamping with megan gravener it is wonderful she explains really simply and has projects for you to make and it covers everything says 13 lessons. I do recommend that dvd she has a series according to the dvd cover. we (neighbor) and I have just gotten around to watching it since we've both taken turns being down sick!

Linda

Speaking of being sick, I've been down with a stomach virus for 4 days! Man, I don't want to go through that again! Such pain in the guts and so much time in the bathroom. Yuck. I'm much better today. I can now eat somethings (mushy, bland stuff) and drink water.

Have you seen the Stampin' Up! tree set called Lovely as a Tree?
115026s.jpg

I probably have close to 800 individual stamps on wood blocks (these are mostly in sets because they're Stampin' Up!) and then I have probably 75 clear mount sets from SU!. I really don't have a lot of organization. All the retired SU! sets are in cardboard boxes, somewhat organized by subject: Christmas, other holidays, words & letter sets, vintage, flowers, misc. My current sets are mostly the clear mount and come in cases like a CD so they are arranged alphabetically on a CD/DVD rack. The current wood mounted sets are on a shelf in my craft room (only about a dozen wood mount).

well want to share some news with you all. My wonderful "angel" neighbor has had hard time with illness looked like recovered then down again. she is 80 + so her son has decided she needs to live with them from here on out. That means moving to another state. we will be losing her in week! I'm gonna miss her so much

and our lease is not being renewed at our apartments because they want to re-model and then rents will be higher (can't afford that) so found new place to live (another apartment) about 10 miles away and will be moving in 2 weeks. I'm watching closely the swaps and will have a change of address in also I will also be posting new address next week so those mailing AFTER 3/10 will use new address. Before 3/10 it will come to me if not directly then with change of address forward. so don't be worring about the swaps we will get them exchanged and back to you before Easter in plenty of time. In fact I think I have everything on one already, got to do some checking and matching this weekend. 3 swaps due this comming week!!!!!

If you have not mailed let me know when. thanks so far everything is wonderful very pleased with your talents and work you all are wonderful! it's artists and creators like you that make SCS work so well. any questions let me know.

Just wondering do they retire sets a lot? and by "retired" does that mean no longer for sell anywhere? I hate when companies make things so diffcult to get I'm one of those if its not broke don't fix it so if it sells, leave it alone!

At the end of every catalog year, Stampin' Up! retires some of the stamp sets in the annual catalog to make room for new sets. Retired means that Stampin' Up! will no longer sell them. [OK, now there's an exception to that rule - - recently, for the first time ever, Stampin' Up! has offered some retired stamp sets in the Clearance Rack online.]

If you know of a retired Stampin' Up! set that you would like to have then check out the Buy, Sell, Trade section here on SCS. Lot's of SU! demonstrators are part of SCS. They may still have the retired set and be willing to sell it. Also, if you have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, ask her if she can find one for sale for you. We have access to Stampin' Up! demo websites where we can list a "Looking For.." item. As a VERY LAST RESORT...you can look at eBay but they are usually way too expensive. Remember, these are just rubber stamps you're looking for, not a 2000 year old Ming vase.

I hope that answers your question.
