- how you got started

My niece was a Stampin’ Up demonstrator and got me interested in card making and stamps. She told me about SCS and I started just browsing. I got enthralled with inchies, made a few and put them on my gallery and was invited to start swapping.

- how long have you been doing this

I joined SCS in January, 2008 and started swapping shortly after that. I was so scared to put myself out there, but everyone was so supportive and helpful, I just kept going with it.

- do you have any other hobbies

Oh mercy yes. I sew, embroider, crochet, knit, smock, you name it. My little hands are never still.

- a bit about your family & friends

I have been married 55 years to Himself. I have two sons, one 52, one 42. A wonderful daughter-in-law, two grandsons, ages 21 and 13. I have bunches of friends to share my hobbies. I have lots of SCS friends now to add to my collection.

- favorite tools of the trade

I am a “punch junky”. I have no idea how many I have but I love them and keep buying more.

- something we might not know

I quit school at 15 and got married, which was not unusual at the time and in our "country" area. I raised my boys, and then went back to school at 40 years old. I graduated from college when I was 45.

- favorite swapping experience

All the inchie swaps have been my most enjoyable ones. I have had so many good experiences I can’t pick a favorite.

- anything else that you would like to share

I was so surprised to receive this honor. Thank you for considering me.
