GOING HOME 4x4 MINI CALENDAR-Changito, Hedgies, Disney, HouseMouse NOV.5
Join us for this great swap using Changito, Disney, House Mouse/Happy Hoppers, Penny Black Hedgehogs, or Precious Moments AND MAKING A 4X4 MINI CALENDAR! Who doesn't love all those?? Please read all of the swap info before joining. Thanks. This will be the same as last year that I had a swap like this -- a mini calendar, the perfect size to mount on chipboard coasters.
Swap calendar pages will be 4“ x 4” cardstock. DO NOT ROUND EDGES!If you would like to do that, then do so after you have received yours back.Coasters will NOT be included in this swap. This keeps postage costs lower and allows swappers to choose a different use for the calendars, if desired.
All calendar pages must have at least two layers of good quality card stock and one embellishment.

Please let me know which stamp/ect you will be using so we don't have any duplicates. DO YOUR BEST, BE PROUD, and sign, stamp, or place a sticker on the back of your calendar page with your SCS name and real name so we can thank you or comment on your beautiful work.
QUANTITY: you will make 13 image pages and 13 calendar pages (all the same month).
You can download a calendar template from SCS member Cat's thread.
**Be sure to allow space on the appropriate side for holes to be punched during calendar assembly!
DUE DATE: Calendar pages are due in my hands Nov. 5, 2010!! Please be timely in getting them to me so everyone has time after they have received them back to assemble them and have them ready for Christmas giving.
MAILING INSTRUCTIONS: Place swap items in Ziploc baggie (for waterproofing purposes) along with a piece of paper or sticker listing your real name, your SCS name, and the swap name, along with 2 extra stamps to ensure that there is enough postage; this is in case someone uses embellishments that make their creations thicker or heavier than yours. I will return the stamps if they are not needed. Place your baggie inside a SASE with the same amount of postage that it takes to mail the swap to the hostess.
CANADIAN and INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS are very welcome, but please note: The U.S. post office will not accept non-US postage to mail back your swaps. You may send US postage OR USD. I will send back any extra! PM me if we need to work out some other arrangements.

If i we're to sign up, would all my images have to be the same? I did a house mouse image swap not too long ago, and would love to use them.
It does make it easier if they are all the same. That way each month can be different. One thing I have done is copy an image to make how many I need. I just don't color with copic markers then.
I have added a link to the cat's calendar. It is sandwiched up in the middle of the first post. I have also added some pictures from the gallery to give you an idea of what to do.
I will have to think about this. I am supposed to cut down on swaps since my husband lost his job, but these make great gifts. Let me check my swap calendar and get back to you.

I know what you mean. I don't have a job till Sept. But I would love to have you.
Okay, I will take Feb in Disney, Oct for Changito, and April for PB hedgies. I have some cute stamps to use. If I remember these did not cost too much to mail. They will be good gifts for a few friends.
clarifying question... I looked at the samples (since I haven't made these before) am I making 26 cards in total? 1 with the images and 1 with the calendar? Or are these front and back?
Hi Lise, I had so much fun with this last year that I really want to do it this year. I've subscribed to the thread but have to wait to see if I can join. I'll know after Wednesday. I took the whole month of July off and took a few days to spend in Vancouver then a 7 day cruise and a 3 day land tour in Alaska with DH for our 30th wedding anniversary. When I left my "manager" wasn't very happy with me (my old manager approved the trip). Anyway, I may or may not have a job after Wednesday when I'm scheduled to go back, we will see. I'll let your know. Thanks again!

Hope you had a great time on your vacation. Congratulations on 30 years!!! I hope all goes well with going back to work though.
for some reason I cant see the sample pics but what side do the holes go in usually? I know you said to leave room for that on one side ..are they bound on the side or top?

I see what you mean. I put mine on the left side. If you would go to the gallery and type in the search (mini calendar) you can find more examples to give you more of an idea.
