Well... Some are. The dragons wings took a beating and a few other things but I can try epoxy to see if they can be fixed.

Really, all the wings on all the dragons. Ladies I am so sorry. I was so careful when I packed them and I used a super strong box. Lease if you can fix them I would appreciate that.

Thanks.

You did wrap them well so I'm not sure why they would have broken --- not all of them, but 1 wing on each of 3 dragons that I looked at, and one chicken tail I noticed -- didn't unwrap the rest, will see what I can do Friday when I'm off and let you know.

They can be rebaked adding clay to mend them together. It holds better than apply but takes more work. I personally cannot work with epoxy I am allergic to it. Whatever you can do I would be grateful.

I'm so sorry to read that your little guys had an accident on the way to Susan's house. I have my eye on that cute little blue/green dragon. I have both the liquid polymer and epoxy glue, so if Susan wants to ship my little guy to me without fixing him, I can do that here. I don't know, maybe (even with the BEST of packaging) he may hurt his other wing. You know, it's hard for a little guy like that to keep flying around the country!

Stopping by. I should go to bed pretty soon but I feel all jazzed up! Don't know why. Haven't had any caffeine since 11:00 am, Thursday! It's now 12:19 am on Friday morning. I'm going to be a zombie later today!

Hi ladies --
Its been a long and harsh weekend here for us, had to put one of our dogs to sleep on Friday amongst other things. I did what I could to mend or replace and have swapped and will try to get to the post office tomorrow, but it may not be until Wednesday. (It was closed today for the holiday.)
Thanks for understanding and swapping! Praying they all make it home safely to you!

So sorry to hearing about your dog. We had to put our Lucy to sleep last week too. Cancer. It was fast and ugly. She was only 3, the poor girl. I share your pain. [hug] Maybe they are playing together on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Happy mail came yesterday despite the ice! I was lucky enough to get one of those darling little dragons. He is so cute! My package also contained some beautiful buttons by Tracy and a lovely little lip balm tub. This was such fun and so inspiring. Great idea Susan, and as usual you did a great job hosting.

My box of goodies arrived yesterday!
I am so amazed with the creativity. My little blue & green dragon arrived in perfect form....he is so stinkin' cute! I love his shinny bead eyes. I have a lovely pair of earrings with a stamped/embossed design. And I received a lovely heart pendant from Dora in Sunnyvale, CA. The marble pattern of the blue & gray & white clay is amazing. I will certainly be wearing this on Feb. 14th! [It's the only Val. Day celebrating I'll be doing.]

Thank you everyone!

That little blue & green guy is "so stinkin' cute!" I just decided to put him on the shelf over my computer so I can have a chuckle every time I'm on the internet. Originally I put him on a shelf in the living room but he kinda disappeared since he's small.

He has a place of honor on the computer desk now.

I received my package over the weekend. I love EVERYTHING! I received one of the chickens(?) I believe, all in one piece and she's now sitting on the shelf over my crafting desk in my craft room. The heart pendant was beautiful. Did you use sculpy or primo or was it a different clay? It seems lighter than I would have expected. I also received one of the artifacts, very clever. It's on the hook under the bird over my craft desk so I'll be thinking of this swap every time I work at my desk.

A very big thank you to Susan. I'm sorry your weekend was so tough. I'll be slowing down with my postings til after my surgery Friday, so the very best of luck with your move and all that you're going through. We moved a lot when I was a kid, and as I got older, I always thought of moving as a new beginning...I hope your new beginning is everything you want it to be, Susan.

All my best,
Tracy

I hope you like the artifact.
It's 100's of years old and hard to find any more of them these days. It's very rare, only 4-5 of them in the world.

Thanks, Ladies, for all the notices and well-wishing. I am in the process of trying to sell my house and change jobs, move to Idaho, etc! Its nutty but exciting. Battling a cold now but praising God still --
Prayer request and praise report:
My house doesn't go on the market until next week officially but we did a mailing notice to the development homes just as courtesy and because its a unique neighborhood where often family and friends want to move in and homes don't often go up for sale there. Lo' and behold the realtor already got a call of someone wanting to see it today before it goes on market even because its the only day the person is in town (from out of state). Wuoldn't that be amazing if it sold before it even went on market? All God!

In any case, I'm glad these arrived safe and sound. It was a challenge to repair or replace as needed but I hope everyone is happy with what they received back and enjoying the items. I'll be checking in on SCS now and then but in transition with moving so may be absent for periods but don't give up on me. I'll be back. The craft room had to be packed away for now (shock, dismay, overwhelming!).

Thanks again for sharing your awesome creativity!!!

Susan

If we don't hear from you for a while, at least we know what's happening with you.

Question: Why are you moving from WV to Idaho? It's job related...right?

Thanks, Dea. Your work was inspiring and I just enjoy hosting. Those cute guys came all the way from Canada so no worries about that as I realized it was costly for you to mail to participate too. Thanks for being a part of it!

So much going on here as we did indeed get an offer on the house on the day before it even went on market! We accepted it and now are in the process of inspections, appraisals, etc. and could close on March 20, which basically equates to me having only about 4 weeks til movers! Yikes! Started my new job too meanwhile via telework for now and its awesome, loving it. Just a very very busy time for me here!

Hey everyone! I am sad that I missed out on this swap! I am wondering if any of you have ever seen a swapping website centered around polymer clay? I have tried a bunch of Google searches but everything that comes up is inactive sites. If not, would anyone be interested in doing another clay swap?
