I can't seem to stop making these! I will need two more spots please! They are just so quick and easy to make! Here's a pic of the ones I have made. The top one is my experiment with Mister Huey gone wrong . And the others are made with Washi tape

Anyone have crafty plans this weekend?? The weather network says there's a snow storm predicted for tomorrow so guess I'll be stuck inside....whatever what I do... Hahaha.

I envy you jumping in to host your first swap.
I have considered it many times, but have not yet bit the bullet.
I will take 3 spots please.

Yeah, I saw the news about this storm. Sounds like it might be a big one for the East Coast. It started snowing here about an hour ago and it's really coming down. We've already got about an inch and a half of snow on the ground. We're heading to Niagara Falls tomorrow for some family Day fun with my in-laws, so not much crafting for me this weekend!

My sets are ready to go but I don't see your address listed. Can you send me a PM please?

And, Sharon, I hope you decide to try hosting soon. It's fun!

I think I will try hosting in the summer when I am off work and will have more time.
In the mean time I will put my thinking cap on and try and come up with something interesting.
Thanks for the encouragement!

Posting this breaks my heart. I was getting the package together and went online to calculate postage. This envelope -- weighing just 3 oz. -- was $7.35 to mail. While I love swapping, that would be almost $15.00 to swap a few address labels. I just can't do that. I'm sorry, but please drop me from the swap.

Here's what I had made.

I ship internationally on a daily basis through the USPS and I have to tell you that number is wrong Terri. If your letter is 6x9 like a folded manilla envie and weighs only 3 oz and is under a 1/4" thick (which these should be since you only stamped) you should only be paying $1.30 not $7....I know alot of postal workers who will try to say your little letter envie is an "international package" but it is not...it's a first class international letter...it's just like couponing...you need to be informed!! so here is the link for envelope size:
A Customer's Guide to Mailing
There is a difference between envelope sizes and how much it will cost... stick to a folded manilla envelope with your cards in there and you should be fine and at the $1.30 cost. Even if your envie is ridgid, you are still only an letter.and that would only cost $1.75 for unmachineable!! IF a postal worker tells you no, that is incorrect, take the size guide with you...unless it's 3/4" thick or over the 6x11 envie size you will only pay $1.30 or even a little ridgid $1.75 MAX! I get so frustrated with our postal service trying to take advantage of us with postage!!

On the postal debate I just went to my PO to mail something else and took my two sets of happy mail along with a plastic bag that fits into a standard envelope and was told it would cost $1.10 to mail. I did inquire and the kicker is the size of the envelope.
And these are just so stinking fun to make I wold love a couple more spots if you have them.
I'll post a pic of them once completed.

Hi all. We are covered in ten inches of snow. I think the whole city shut down yesterday. We do have good road crews so hoping the USPS runs today. I shoveled a path up to my mailbox and put my happy mail in it. We will see. And I will be anxious to see how long it takes to get to you.
I sent in two envelopes to keep postage costs down. Hopefully I got it right for you. I it in stamps and some $ for return envelope. That helps in cost to not put in another envelope. I put in return address labels too.
So if that helps with anyone trying to send and hearing its too expensive.

We also got some snow today, but only about two inches. It was coming down pretty heavy this morning then tapered off this afternoon. They're calling for freezing rain tonight, so I am looking forward to an evening at home spent crafting!
